Shimano Sahara Spinning Reels
Currently deciding on this or the Pflueger President. If I can find the Sahara on sale over the next month I'll pull the trigger, if not I'm going with the President so I can put a little more money into a rod, baits, line, etc.

Texas Rigged Senko Is Killer!
I fish the senko T-Rigged all the time. I can normally get 3-4 fish per worm and only thing I do is bite off the end of the worm where it sits on the offset part by the eye of the hook. I do that because the worm rips at the top a lot of times and you can always put the sharpened in certain ways to make it weedless. I know a lot of guys put some super glue on the worm head to keep it on there better, but I've never tried that. Lethal bait no matter how you fish it honestly.

Slow Roll Trick Worm (Pics)
Academy has some decent digital scales for $15 to $20. I've had one for about 2 years and it works well, maybe a tenth or so off on accuracy (used some weights to test it out). You could also get a little tape measure or something to measure lengths which would give you a ballpark weight if you apply it to bass size charts.

Loose Transducer
Okay that's what I wasn't sure about. Appreciate the help fellas.

Loose Transducer
Thanks and yeah I just got this boat over the Summer. A family member is unable to use it anymore so he pretty much let me have it. When I move the transducer how should I go about covering the holes from where it used to be?

Loose Transducer
Took the boat out a little over the month ago and when putting it up I noticed the transducer to the fish finder had come in contact with the trailer which knocked it loose. I'm surprised this hasn't happened before, and the boat was a tad off center on the trailer but not by much. I'm not sure how to go about fixing it because I can't get access to the other side of the screws due to the boat flooring and two batteries bolted in on that side. I thought about using some marine glue to try and seal it back on there but I figure that would only be a temporary fix due to the fact the screws are loose now. Also I'm thinking the transducer needs to be moved a little more to the left. I'll post some pictures and let you guys look. Thanks in advance.

Bass Pro Shops Ascend Kayak
Just brought home my FS12T. Only have the kayak so I'll have to wait to get the rest of my accessories for Christmas/Graduation before I can put it on the water. A little heavier than I thought but looks sharp and really like new scotty rod holder position, which is a little closer than in older models.

Beginner Kayak Accessories
Thanks for the reply, couple of questions though. I'm about 6-3 and have extremely long arms so if I did that test would I probably want to cut a few inches off the length? Also, can you explain the difference between the different classes of PFDs? And lastly what is the Extrasport offering BPS has?

Beginner Kayak Accessories
I'm going to be picking up the Ascend FS12 SOT kayak from Bass Pro this weekend because they have them marked down to $400. Tough to pass on that deal. I was just curious though what are some decent paddles and PFD's that I can get without forking out top dollar? On the subject of paddles, what length is ideal for lakes and reservoirs/ponds? I have Dicks, Academy, and some other paddle board outfitter stores around me locally. Thanks in advance.

Would You Say There Are Any Big Fish Here?
Tried bigger baits? That'd be the best way to find out. Just use the same type of bait you're using to catch the dinks except bigger. Sure you're numbers will be down but maybe you find what you're looking for. No one on here will be able to definitively tell you if there are bigger fish in there because we can't fish it.

First Time Getting A Baitcaster
Just got this the other day and I absolutely love it. If you can try to pair it with the microguides instead of regular guides.

Carbonlite Rods On Sale At Bps 79.97
I literally just bought a BPS PQ and Carbonlite Microguide on Friday. Luckily if you make them a combo it knocks $20 off both items so I lucked out anyways. BTW its an awesome combo for an angler on a budget like myself.

Guess The Weight!
I notice you're holding the fish a little close to the camera which adds a pound or two so I'll go ahead to deduct that and guess 7 lbs 6oz.

Cooler Weather In August Already??
63 degrees this morning in Greenville, SC. Feels like a Fall football Saturday.

Buzz Baits??
Unless the fish are extremely aggressive I've found that a slower roll will catch more fish. Now I've still caught bass burning the buzzbait across the top, but this year I've slowed it down and almost fished it like a spinnerbait with it just barely breaking the top of the water.
