Not surprised at all. I have the Bassmaster magazine he was on the cover of after he won the classic in a frame in my garage right next to my rods. He is a great source of inspiration to me and a great example of how to conduct yourself. Yea my goal in Life has always been to be like him (except for leaving this world prematurally). He is a prime example of how someone without much experience but with drive, determination, and pride could make their dreams come true. You watch the 94 Classic highlights and get a glimpse of the gentlemen he was. On stage after he won, Ray Scott said "Your a hamburger flipper right, that's what you do?" Don't hold me to this, but if I do come that first weekend I will do a fish fry for whos there at that time. The only reason I'm saying don't hold me to it is that work may make where I can't go.
