  1. My other passion is photography and I've bought and tried just about every tripod out there. I like the gorilla pod shown a few posts above but I like my zipshot tripod better. It folds up to about 14" and in 2 seconds you can have it at full height. I like to use it with my p&s or my Canon 5D2 with a small lens and it's perfect. It's the Tamrac Zipshot Tripod.
  2. i picked up my first casting setup today at BPS. I went with the pro qualifier 6:4:1 on a 7' MH-F. I think I'll be happy (i hope!) They charged me $159.
  3. Stopped by BPS this afternoon and picked one up:)
  4. just go back with your receipt and they'll adjust it for you.
  5. I don't have the Christmas catalog so I checked the website and it's still $99. Is there some kind of code in the catalog to use during checkout to bring it down to $69? I might have to swing by BPS tomorrow at lunch:) Thanks, Dennis
  6. My dad still uses his Mitchell reel he bought 54 years ago when he was 12. We went to BPS last night and he thought I was insane looking at the $200+ spinning reels:) He loves his reel and does great with it but I'm a gearhead at heart (just sold a $7000 camera lens to help fund some fishing gear) and I want to buy a nice rod/reel setup. I'm currently using my Costco Ugly Stik/Daiwa Crossfire combo I picked up LOL. I hadn't fished in 20+ years and needed a combo on a day's notice.
