  1. Just don't get a dog named ToTo and you should be fine!
  2. Well obviously a shotgun is too unwieldy to use. A handgun is either under powered or over powered. So lets just go with assault rifles and sub machine guns. Not those rinky dink AR rifles everyone likes. I'm talking about the real deal. Fully auto, clink, pull, Braaaappppppp! Why maneuver around when you can dump a drum in the intruders general direction? Out of all 100 at least one is gonna find its mark. Its the perfect solution to a vexing problem.
  3. Score another one for the Glock! You sir have good taste in handguns.
  4. A riot pump can do wanders. More natural feel than a regular horizontal pump.
  5. I have made friends with many of my new neighbors. I like to know the parents of the little angels playing with my little angel. Well there is always one bad apple in the bunch. My son was playing with his newest best friend and the other boy yelled at him. My son yelled back at him and they began yelling at each other. The parent on duty broke it up and everyone went about their business. A few minutes later the other boy runs up and shoves my son off the elevated walking log thing. My son jumps up and promptly tackles the boy. Again they are broken up and we get their as the other boy runs home crying. I think its fair. Both kids are crying no one has hurt anything other than their ego. So he gets talked to about what happened and sent back out to play. About ten minutes later their is a knock on the door. I'm sitting on my deck enjoying a coke on the rocks. When all of a sudden I here some foreigner yelling at my wife in a Hindi accent. I'm sorry you don't raise your voice to my old lady. I don't do it, and I expect the same courtesy from others. My wife is straight up laying in to this poor fella. I get up out of my chair and announce my presence with a low "what's the problem out here?" This fools jowl drops to the ground. Apparently this cheap button down wearing nerd wasn't expecting a burly 6ft 2in man to come out to play. I again asked what seemed to be the problem, and advised him to apologize to my wife for raising his voice. Well he apologized and launched into me about his precious little boy getting pushed. I told him what had happened and told him to ask the other parents if he ain't believe me. Then this fool had the gall to scoff at me! Can you believe that!?! He actually scoffed at me! I promptly told him he can believe what he wants to and should spend more time with his son then working at the gas station they own. (I'm not being racist, they really do own the gas station down the street. They have for years too. I know I patronize them sometimes.) Maybe then his boy would behave like a civilized person and not some third world heathen. We exchanged words for a few more minutes. (Not yelling mind you) when out of the blue my boy and his come walking up holding hands. Talking about they are friends again and blah blah blah. Then off they go back to the playground. We'll needless to say we were both speechless about this turn of events. I stared him down and said maybe we should go back to what we were doing and just forget about our little meeting on the threshold of my apartment. He agreed and we went our separate ways with nary a word to one another. A little while later I was on my deck sipping a doctor pepper on the rocks. When the nerd pulled back into the parking lot. He got to the door to the hallway and said hello and waved to me. I nodded and waved back. I think I just made a new friend! Ain't it funny how life works?
  6. Does with android phones too.Long as you do it correctly it should work flawlessly. Then again with my recent spate of bad luck the dang phone will probably explode in my hand. Still though. I'm ready for a change. I buy out my Verizon contract and switch to their Edge plan in October. Then I get to upgrade every 6months, if I want. (Which I already do every year anyway) I just end up paying 700 bucks dor a new phone now. I intend to keep my S3 as well. My S3 currently runs faster and more efficiently than an S4. Plus the battery now last forever and a day. Whether I jailbreak or not is still in the air. It all depends how I like the new iOS.
  7. I enjoy rooting my phones. What's the point in spending the insane amounts of money on one if you can't have fun with it? It enables you to remove bloatware and play with different OS's. It also opens the door for other neat tricks too.
  8. Alright I will come out and admit it. Apple has done a good job with their iPhone. My 82 year old grandmom has a 4s. She can text, facebook, and do whatever else via this phone. Apple has put out a product that an 82 year old can operate flawlessly. She is so excited to be able to keep up with The Family and her friends around the country. It has brought her so much joy. That I have decided to give Apple a try with a 5 or 5s. I figure what have I got to lose? Ill still have my S3 if I don't like the phone. Us if iOS gets on my nerves I can jailbreak it and install androids OS on the device. Well lets see where this new adventure takes me.
  9. Never thought about a .410 before. Very good suggestion.
  10. Homie I'm sorry but... ROFLMAO at that. Dude that is beyond terrible. Things will get better I think.... By the way. I know a cajun voodoo lady that lives in my apartment complex. She might be able to help you out. Bring her the tail from a snake, the eye from a rat, the tongue from a newt, and the wing of a bat. She should be able to make you something to help bad luck.
  11. I find it humorous that a PETA said something to be in regards to my leather motorcycle jacket. First off I didn't even know they existed in Alabama. Anyway. I told him he could have the jacket in exchange for letting me turn him into a coat. Boy did that set him off. He ranted about how wearing any once living thing was wrong. Even if I were to stumble upon a road kill cow it would still be wrong to make clothing out of its carcass. I politely asked him what his jacket was made of. Cotton responded the animal worshiper. I pointed out that by his argument cotton comes from a plant that was once living. At least until it was brutally ripped from the ground by whirring blades and flung without a care into a cold steal bin to slowly die. I told him I disagree with the indiscriminate killing of defenseless plants. "Plants don't have feelings" responded the animal lover and his associate who had since walked up. I asked how he knew that, had he asked a plant how if it had feelings? Now they are both stirred up and complaining at me. I'm having the time of my life with them at this point. I told them until I could wear a person and until cows stopped killing the poor defenseless plants I would continue wearing leather and any other animal product I wanted too. At this point they were screaming at me and calling me a murderer and a neanderthal. I decided to walk away at this point, but only to further antagonize them. I went to the nearest hamburger restaurant. And purchased a large plain hamburger. Then went back to the animal nuts, who were now forcing there beliefs on some unfortunate woman. I walked over and announced loudly. "This cow died for my Burger!" Back at me they focused their attention. I listened quietly and set the burger on the end of their table. I announced "now my friends this cow died for nothing. His death was purely in vain." I turned leaving my hamburger and began to walk away. I hadn't made it ten feet when the cow lover hurled the burger at me. Poor fellow I think I hurt his feelings or something. He looked on the verge of tears at this point. I let out a roar of a laugh at this poor schmuck and walked away. I ain't never seen them back down there since that night. Also as of now I am restarting my organization. PETP People for the Ethical Treatment of Plants. I am now excepting members. We eat animals in order to save the plants!
  12. Nope. My long bow was custom made by a bow maker I did some electrical work for. One horse bow was made by the same guy. The other was purchased, custom built, and and shipped from Europe. Aside from my various arrows the only thing archery related I've purchased from them is the custom string set on my PSE.
  13. I ain't had that problem with any of my internet bought bows. Or the two bought for my brother in laws in the same manner. Not once have we had a problem with them setting up a compound bow for us. It cost me 15 in labor to get my new strings installed a few months back. Ain't never charged a dime to setup or change draw weight or length on any of our bows. With the exception of 25 dollars for new Matthews cams on my BILs bow when he traded them the old ones. My friends have never had a problem with them doing that either.
  14. The Heart of Dixie. Occasionally Copenhagen. Unless its a special occasion, then its a hand twisted "hog tail". Also known as rope tobacco.
  15. However, if your dead set on a compound. Do like Clayton said. Get on craigslist. Go to your local bow shop and get your draw length measured. Talk with the tech about what your looking for and what you intend to use said bow for. Then jump on the internet and buy yourself a used bow.
  16. They make tons of them in your range of draw weight. Mine are custom bows. They are high dollar and made specifically for my height, draw length, and draw weight. You can get a longbow custom built without any frills for around 90 to 120. You can get a beginners recurve for around the same.
  17. Might I suggest a traditional bow? IE. Recurve or Long Bow. If you really want a challenge get a Horse bow and thumb ring. I just got back into compound bows this year. I've been shooting my long bow and my two horse bows for the last 4 or 5 years. I find them more fun to fool around with then my compound bow. Hell of a lot more skill involved with them than a compound bow. I ain't talking about some cheap 50 or 100 dollar fiberglass long bow or recurve. I'm talking about the real thing. I'm just giving you some food for thought. Compound bows can't even come close to matching the power on my Hungarian Horse Bow. That thing has 130# draw weight, and no let off, seeing as it aint got cams or pulleys. It will straight up launch an arrow. Accurate as all get out too. That's what they call a man's bow!
  18. My wife is went last year. She is helping on one this year. She said it is freaking awesome. Have fun homie. We will be praying for you.
  19. A .22 mag will mess you up if you place it right. Its all in shot placement. Plus a .22 can bounce around once it penetrates. It can also follow bones and what have you. As for revolvers I like .357 and larger. However, a .22 is a very viable option.
  20. No disrespect taken. I thoroughly believe I need to work for myself. Either that or I need to get back with my last company. I have more respect for the owners of that company then I have had with all but my first job. They are successful because they treat their employees fair, they respect our opinions, and they listen when we tell them something. Everyone there from the owners to the 3 warehouse workers are electricians. They all have worked in the field, none of them used a degree to get a licence. Anyway, I'm working towards eventually starting my own company. I just got to be patient.
  21. Ohhhh ohhhhh!!! I want one!!!!! :D The latest! The greatest! Superrrrr Phone!!!! Seriously though. I am curious about said device. Actually the whole iPhone thing in general. Does anyone have a big screened version they would like to get rid of? I want one to play around with. You know just see what all I can make it do.
  22. Ours has taken to bird dogging lately. He ain't figured out why me and one of the plumbers go to barking and howling whenever we see him.
  23. Tempting. However, I've already put too much weight back on.
  24. He still doesn't remember scoring that touchdown. Tatum knocked the hell out of him. Word is you could hear the hit outside the stadium. That may be one of the hardest hits I've ever seen.
  25. Naw. No one uses uzi's anymore. Mac11 with 30rd mag. Gotta tie a bandanna to it and hold it sideways. They aren't accurate when held verticle.
