Im just glad to see I'm not the only one that has worked long periods with no down time.

I'm gonna say its some kind of ocean dwelling fish. Seriously though it looks almost like a small tuna.

Never heard of them doing that before. However you might be safe to unspool them. You never know what TSA will do. the more I think about it the more I think you should unspool them. I'm personally curious if they will let me have a brick in my carry on bag. You never know when you might need a good ol brick.

Right now I'm just trying to get 40 hours a week. Heck five consecutive work days would be awesome. However myself and some co workers were discussing the number of consecutive days and hours we had worked on previous jobs. By consecutive I mean no weekends, holidays, or vacation days. The longest I have gone before has been 12 hour days for a period of 5 months. None of which was spent at a desk, it was all doing construction. So I ask the question, what's the most consecutive days and hours that you have worked?

Only if I can shoot one off yours with my .308. Its a safe bet for ya cause 99 out of a hundred shots I hit dead on.

Looked at a 4runner yet? They keep their value, are roomy, and last forever and a day.

Already got the reel, a Calcutta TE DC. I would like a custom rod to put it on, just can't afford one right now. If I ever get back to working 40hours again, I'll have DVT build me a Raiders rod to put it on. As for what type, I'm not divulging that info til I talk with him about building it. Wouldn't want some one to Jack my idea.

Ugly sticks are most likely what I'm about to go and get for them. I'm just not seeing the need for graphite with these fish. Glass just seems like the way to go.

Homie cheap rods work as well as highend rods for catching these fish. I actually kindof prefer them. Then if one breaks on a stripe I'm not out 200 or more dollars.

You get warned for being combative or posting offensive post and what not. Least that's my understanding of it. Basically they just changed the interface of the warning system around. They are being no stricter or less stricter than before. Like I said they just changed the interface around. I wouldn't give it another thought. If you go down to the everything else forum there is a 3page thread, that has been locked intitaled "warning points" or something along those lines. Glenn explained it all out in that thread.

I used a 7ft mh veritas all the Times I've been. I have a couple of different rods for trolling though. My buddy is using a ugly stick and a Johnny Morris rod of some type. Eventually I'll get some rods more geared towards striper fishing. I just figure as long as I'm using a net and not trying to lift them with the rod, my less expensive bass rods are fine.

Yup. More so lures, line, and boat stuff.

If your fishing below the dam when they are pulling water your gonna have a rough time with the live bait. If they aren't pulling water the live bait will work amazingly. If your fishing creeks in the creeks, the live bait is also the way to go. Either reel will work good for ya. Just put some 20 to 25lb test line on them.

I like the round Abu Garcia reels. They are some strong and durable little reels. I would imagine you should be able to catch them at the base of both dams. We were catching them a few weeks back at the base of Logan Martin dam. Try throwing a white fluke on a white jig head. Everyone out there was nailing them on those. Especially when they are running water outta the dam.

I like to blasphemy with my combos. I go out of my way to put my Diawa reels on Shimano rods, my Shimano reels on Diawa rods. Really for no other reason then to get a rise out of the diehards out there. Other wiseI have a lot of different rods mixed with different reels.

I fail to see the issue here. All that was changed is the warning interface. I don't recall Glenn or any of the mods saying they were going to change how they are handling things. If anything it sounds as if they are being more lenient. I mean these are the same people that have been running things. The rules are still the same as before are they not? Like I said its just a simple interface change.

Beethoven and Mozart are two of my favorites. I'm also quite partial to Chopin and Bach. Beethoven is my all time favorite though. I forgot to add them earlier. It is some of the most Hardcore music that there is. I mean it can be considered the first Black Metal and Light Metal. It sets a mood, be it cheerful or just down right evil, and tells a story. Same goes for most Opera as well.

It's a 5600 C4 I believe, not quite sure off the top of my head. As for the stripers. I know they're in both Lay and Logan Martin Lakes. We were catching them below the Logan Martin dam, in lay lake, a few weeks back. They like the side creeks too. I believe they are also in Mitchell below the Lay lake dam. I'm not quite sure how far South in the Coosa they are, but I know they are in those three lakes for sure. Also they are in Lake Martin on the Tallapoosa River, as well as beliw the Lake Martin Dam.

Boston is the worst by far. I'm gonna have to agree with Sam though. All you Yankees talk funny. Especially the ones from the East Coast area.

Long Mike, didn't you used to work in the oil fields? I vaguely recall you mentioning that in a different thread from a while back.
