I have never used braid but bought some over the winter cause it was on sale. Thought I might give it a try. Was wondering how many people out there actually use braid and is it a must have in your tackle???

Soon as I get my income taxes back I will be going to my local BPS. Right now I am looking at the Pflueger Supreme, but I am also looking at the Soron. It's a little more than I want to spend but it looks nice and I hear great things about it. Thanks for all the suggestions, Supreme is the lightest so far out of them all that's why I am leaning towards the Supreme

I was looking at the cardinal reels actually. I'm a big fan of pflueger, I bought a cetina last year cuz I wanted a higher gear ratio and I must say best $90 I ever spent. But on the other hand, there's nothing like my premier from Abu . They both make fantastic products but the supreme 8030 weighing 7.4ozs is hard to beat

Looks like the Plueger Supreme is probably what I'm gonna get. Still listening to suggestions.

I'm looking to purchase a nice spinning reel to pair with my veritas spinning rod. Like to keep it under $100 so I can buy some verdicts . It would be nice to have a lighter reel than what i have now(Quantum tenacity). I'm looking to put about 8 pound flouro on there. Thanks for your help.

thanks big-O....I will let you know when i give them a try. I haven't been out much here in MO with the weather being bad but hopefully i get to get out soon....I love my rage craws haven't tried the lobsters but i might have to now

I have the 6'9'' ML MEDIUM FAST spinning version. They are very nice. I am getting the new verdict soon as well, i hear good things about that

I was looking for a good spinning reel and not wanting to pay a whole for it. I have a quantum tenacity i bought at Dick's couple years ago and was wondering if anyone knew how much it weighed? I bought a vertias rod and the quantum tenacity just seems heavy on it. Love the reel and how it operates but just seems heavy. Appreciate some help on this topic

I have heard a lot of good things about the strike king rodents. I was wondering about the color I have been hearing about(falcon lake). I just picked up a pack yesterday at BPS, just like to hear if people have had luck with this particular color or no luck and about the rodent bait itself

During the spring time I only carry 2 kinds. Brush hogs and of course you cannot forget about Lizards. Lizards on beds is a strike waiting to happen.

If I'm not mistaken BPS reels come from the Pflueger factory

Sean let me know when you get your Verdicts and play with them a little. Appreciate your insight and your review of the rod, even if you are on staff I look forward to a honest review

I have been using Stren Fluoro now for about 2 1/2 yrs. The only thing that I see is that it does have a lot of memory. You have to stretch it out about every other time you fish, but that is true for just about any Fluoro that you use(which I have used them all). I like Stren Fluoro I think it is way better than Trilene's 100% IMO. I use 12# mostly and have 10# on my spinning reel.

I 2nd the opinion use it for t rigs and small spinners. Probably use it for small shallow crankbaits but I am not a fan of extra fast tips, just a personal preference.

Thanks for the link. Its that time of year to take my reels apart and grease and oil them and just clean them up for the upcoming year. I bought some quantum hot sauce, think that would work ok on my premiers?

I think I am going to get the 7'3 verdict casting and then buy a veritas spinning rod not sure what model yet. I need a good rod that will be very versatile for me and 7'3 i think would do just that. Just wish that i could see one in stores before i buy one. Thanks for the information Sean

Has anyone had the opportunity to fish with the new Verdict Rods?? I was thinking of getting one but cannot find them at my local BPS as they are out of stock. Like to just get some reviews and see if I want to purchase this rod to pair up with my premier or another GL2

Thanks for the information guys. I have read review on Bass Pro but wanted to hear some different opinions. Hope to hear some more reviews on this product. I have some of the Rods and I like them, just trying to decide whether I want to get the reel or not. I know it wont be as good as my Revo Premier but just looking for a good reel for $100.

Please give me some feedback for those who have tried the new Victory Reel from Skeet Reese. I was thinking of purchasing one for Christmas. Hope to get some feedback. I hear they are loud and obnoxious. Thanks for your help
