  1. Let me know what you think of that. I use 8lb invizx for my setup. I spool half the reel with 10-12lb low viz green and then the rest with the flouro, just helps save line.
  2. I have one i have been fishing with since they came out and i have no complaints. I have it paired with his jig and worm rod and i like it for pitching and anything else i need it to do. I know the reviews are not very good depending on where you look but i like mine and i think for $100 it is light and fishes well. Does it compare to my Premier, i would say no but comes down to personal preference.
  3. I just picked up some at my local Dick's Sporting Goods for $1.90. Haven't fished them yet but i like my rage craws so for $1.90 a pack couldn't go wrong
  4. If there is a such thing please let me know
  5. I finally broke down and bought some strike king red eye shad lipless crankbaits. I have heard a lot about them and BPS had them on sale so i decided to pick some up. I was wondering if these are going to live up to the hype that surrounds them. I realize depends on the colors and conditions which by the way i bought the sexy blue black herring and the sexy ghost minnow to try for now. Just looking for someone to give me some feedback for those who have used them.
  6. I use a Veritas 6'9 ML MF action paired with a Pflueger Supreme 8030 for my finesse techniques. I use it for drop shot most of the time but for other types of light finesse fishing as well. I use 8lb Seaguar Invizx.
  7. I have the 8030 Pflueger Supreme. Have it paired with my veritas. I like mine and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spinning reel. It is lighter than quantum models
  8. I was told Seaguar makes BPS XPS line??? Anyone know any truth to that?
  9. I just picked up some Seaguar Red Label flouro last night at my local BPS. I have never used seaguar before and with the price i thought that i would give the red label a try. I bought some invizx 8lb for my spinning reel. I bought some 12lb and 20lb red label for my baitcasters. Has anyone used this line and was it good or is there a reason why it so cheap?? Reviews on BPS website are mixed, just like to get a few more reviews and decide if i want to take it back or but it on my baitcasters. Thanks for the help
  10. I agree it is to bad they are going under. I loved my Tungsten weights that i have. Strike King has their version of Tungsten weights but i am not sure how good they are i have not fished with any.
  11. I bought the 2010 premier last summer and I could not be happier. Outstanding reel(light, nice drag, small profile), the handles are extremely nice. My dad owns a curado and personally i would chose my premier over that any day of the week no question about it. good luck
  12. Junebug is one of my favorite colors but with lizards i have had the most luck with black/red
  13. Spend the extra money and get the Cumara! I've heard some not-so-good things about the Verdict, which is why I got a Cumara. like??
  14. Lizard -any size Rodent Manns worms- any size Tubes Chigger Craw Rage Tail Craw Junebug Watermelon Red Okeechobee Green Pumpkin Black/red Falcon Lake Craw-
  15. Are you fishing gin clear water ? The waters i usually fish are pretty clear, i don't know if i'd say gin clear but clear yes
  16. what's the avg leader length to use for braid???
  17. I'm probably going to buy some flouro leaders to go with the braid, what's the difference between the leader material than the actual flouro line itself, or is there any difference, just curious.
  18. Thanks for the information guys. I'm going to pick up some braid before spring
  19. X 2 That is what I use
  20. It depends , what kind did you buy ? I bought some Stren Microfuse. 30lb 125 yrds for $4. I couldn't pass up the offer. If that's not worth a hoot then I can always buy some good braid, I just wanted to know if it(braid) was necessary or not
