  2. Hello all, I made a website for our little Bass Club. I am still waiting for alot of information I need to post from the club oficers but for most part website is done. Any suggestions or comments please let me know how I can improve it, mind you this is my first website. www.evergladesbassanglers.com
  3. Nice cloudy day, stopped at a park right down the street on a Zara Spook.
  4. I started trying out Fluro leaders on braid line for worms and brushhawgs, about 12 to 14 inches. I used a double uni-knot to tie it, its has held up pretty well. My question is am I risking losing a big fish because of the tie on the leader? does it make a difference when flip/pitching into the thick? and should I use a swivel for the connection? thanks
  5. I know the feeling of not only being a new Bass fisherman but also getting skunked bank fishing since I dont have a boat. The best thing I did was join a club, you will learn soo much in your first tournament. Enjoy you can only get better from here and just have fun.
  6. I have not been there since I sold my boat, that place is too busy. I am going on saturday for our club tournament but it sounds like that place has gotten beat up .
  7. thats a great looking fish. I am dying to catch one of these, I have the equipment if someone is willing to tell me or take me somewhere I can catch a Peacock, I tried Griffen Canal but nothing.
  8. I live close to Griffin, by which intersection are you talking about? I have never caught a Peacock and would love to give it a try.
  9. When I had my Pro 16 I lost 2 rods while fighting a fish, I think I pushed them off but did not notice because I had my Itunes blasting in my ear :-[ I bought those PVC rod holders and only had four on the floor next to me and after that incident I kept them strapped always, with the narrow tracker models you have to keep the rods in front to a minimum unfortunately. I miss my little Tracker, single members dont ever get married!
  10. I tried it the first time and caught my biggest Bass yet and I used it on a baitcaster. It was the white ice Zoom.
  11. Thanks for the welcome I live in Pembroke Pines, anyone wants to fish let me know.
  12. Hello to all, I have fished my whole life mainly saltwater, about 4 years ago I caught my first Bass and man I got the fever big time. I just joined a Bass club and the articles in this site for tournament and especially co-angler advice have been great. See you in the threads
