  1. I'm in. Dana(marinetechnician) also. Going to Androscoggin Lake/Dead River tomorrow. Hoping the rain we've had and cooler weather has dropped water temps. Last weekend on Damariscotta Lake it was TOUGH fishing. Good topwater bite early, then the sun came out. Think we went close to 6 hrs without a fish.
  2. Count me in. Cumberland, ME
  3. We caught most of them at the mouth of Cobbo Stream on jerkbaits. I'm in for the bragging rights too!
  4. I use a Kistler Mag Broomstick with a Revo Premier and 50lb Suffix 832.
  5. I have a Kistler Mag Broomstick that I use solely as a frog rod. Paired with a SX HS with 50lb 832. I used this 99% of the time from a SOT kayak in the weeds and pads. Love it. I found it had the stiffness and the right flex for this app. I have a couple of Veritas H Xf that i would have been a little worried to use. Can't go wrong with the Kistler IMO.
  6. I have both the Spro and Koppers too. For me it is hands down the Koppers Frog. They just look so much more realistic and they sit better in the water. I have been using the same black/Brown frog all season and have caught dozens of fish on it. It's beat up, but, there are no tears and it floats like new. As far as trimming the legs, I have not done that. Not sure if I will.
  7. J Francho, your close. Just have to drop the r's! Example, car is cah.
  8. Outer Forest Ave. I have a camp on Norway Lake. Love that lake. Generally fish Little Sebago, Annabessacook, Pleasant Pond/Cobbo Stream,Cobbo Lake, Dead River/Androscoggin Lake. Went to Ossippee River Flowage early in the season. Myself and fishin partner are lookin for some new territory. Ideas anyone?
  9. Portland, ME answering the call
  10. Chances are that is the gelcoat cracking. The shelf is either made of plywood or glass. All opinions posted will work. Work in the industry and if you have any questions send me a pm. It's easy, if you know what your doin.
  11. I use 2/0 or 4/0 circle hooks. Minimal effort to set the hook.
  12. Also use them as jig trailers. Texas rig too. They do stink too!
  13. Appreciate all the input. With the sale @ BPS, I ordered a 7.1PQ ($80). If that doesn't work out, I have a 7.1SX. Wanted another but the bait monkey is, well, some of you know! Thanks again
  14. Lookin for some input. I have revos and I am very happy with them. But it would be 170 for another SX 7.1. Lookin at the BPS extreme with the flippin switch ($80 + ship). So the question is, what are opinions on the extremes? Any other suggestions? Thanks.
  15. I wouldn't have a problem with taking a couple packs off your hands!
  16. Checked out the site. You got talent man. Gonna have to put an order in soon.
  17. That is a sweet looking buzz bait. What is your website address? Bait monkey is chompin on my heels!
  18. I haven't seen them in person yet, but in the pictures they look amazing. Beautiful job Marc. Gonna have to decide if I will use it or not. If I do, I'm gonna make sure we have a mask on the boat! Will not lose that one!
  19. Maine is $27 for freshwater license. Some point a saltwater license will be needed. May have started, not sure.

Myself and marinetech were looking into joining a club here. Done a little research and was just curious if any one had some knowledge of any in southern maine. Pm me any info you have. Much appreciated.
  22. What have you used? Is the crack below the waterline?
  23. I've been to 2 different stores here in Maine and the sales are still goin. LC's, Rapala, Yum, SK's, etc. Got some great deals.
  24. Kittery Trading Post here in Maine carries the native manta ray 12. I'm hoping they have one in stock so I can sit in it this weekend. Watched the video on the coosa also. That looks like a sweet kayak. And its the same price as the manta ray 12 angler. Looked and no one in Maine carries jackson kayaks. Need to dig some more on that. Have till april 1st. 64 LONG days. d**n.
  25. What about the "go to" brushhog marinetech?
