Chompers Twin Tail Grub

Featured Replies

A buddy of mine has been telling me about these.  What do you guys think of them and what set up do you use to fish them?  Any feed back would be great!  Thanks!

Great bait ,I have fished them for along time and caught tons of bass on them. They do stink BAd of garlic. I fished them on jig heads, football heads.

Also use them as jig trailers. Texas rig too. They do stink too!

These are my go to baits for river smallies. STRONG garlic scent so don't open in the car. I like 'em on a 1/4 oz stand up jig head so those tails can dance in the current.

Love Chompers baits, but man they are smelly!!

I use the single tail, the double tail, the twin tail spider grub, the shakey head worm etc...

I fish the twin tail grub on swim jigs, finesse jigs and jig heads, they work very well.

Chompers twin tail? Oh no, they're no good. Just market hype, absolutely horrible. Don't listen to your friend, he's clueless.

Now being serious, I love the rootbeer/green flake as a jig trailer. And these do smell funky.

i like'em.

i picked some up as an alternative to the yamamoto. they've done well for me.

:D

They're great on football heads, texas rigged, C-rigged, standup jighead, shakeyhead, swimming them, almost any way you would want to fish them you can catch fish. They do smell terrible, and if you bait your hook and scratch your nose right afterwards you will not be happy with yourself.
