  1. I love mine! Been fishing with it for about four years now. Plenty of room for one person and enough for two.
  2. I have some old plactics that are starting to get oily. Should I trash them or will they be OK? I'm thinking it will have a negative effect but I wanted to ask. I'm just now getting back to fishing after a couple of years off. I hate to trash them, but will if I need. Thanks!
  3. Get a heavy rod and a reel loaded with 100lbs braid. Let out about 10' of line for the back cast. When the 6/0 treble hook snags one, show no mercy. Be sure to have the drag welded solid. I would probably catch so kind of charge if I was in his position. He showed me restraint than I could have.
  4. I think it's stupid to go to all the trouble to print a catalog with limited information. Whats the point? It couldn't cost that much more to make a complete description of models and colors.
  5. Were you laying on the floor when you took these pics???
  6. In GYCB, I like the standard colors. Watermellon black flake, watermellon red flake, green pumpkin, watermellom magic, black and my favorite, cinnamon. The cinnamon is a perfect match to a earthworm. In BPS, I like mardi gras.
  7. They have to pay for the Pyramid!
  8. I can't imagine one being any better than the Falcon Cara mirco in finesse jig. It appears that TW doesn't have it anymore, but that is one great rod.
  9. Texas rig it and see if you catch anything!
  10. I put a couple of saltines in mine and it works.
  11. My best color has been watermellon magic. It's a smoke fest with this color tied on.
  12. How would it gunk up your gears? I would think if you use it in moderation, like any other line conditioner, you would be OK.
  13. I had great luck with the Zoom swimmin flukes and some that Paul Krew poured up for me. You can find him on facebook and he can do ANY color combination you can dream of. I had him do a natural shad color (black top / white bottom with silver flake and bloody gills). This along with original Megastrike, I smoked them throughout 2014.
  14. Does he show you what part of Memphis it's in?
  15. It's only considered binging if you quit.
  16. I'd take an Abu skeet reel! Not any of the W&M reels, though.
  17. I think you have set the world record for the number of posts / topics vs. the length of time you've been here.
  18. d**n, I thought I was through buying reels for at least 6 months.
  19. I use several different retrieves. I swim it, pull it up and let it fall, crawl along the bottom, smoke it across the top.... Just try different ways and see what works. ETA: They're telling you how to fish it in your other thread.
  20. You can sling one a mile without a weight!
  21. I have had good luck with these and the GYCB version. I always rig them backwards (skirt first) with a 5/0 or 6/0 weedless. With them rigged this way, they fall awY from you. It's easy to get them under things like this.
  22. I have a Falcon Cara micro in the finesse jig that is quiet impressive. Using a Curado 50E and 10lbs InvizX on it. It is also my lightest combo.
  23. Yeah, 65lbs braid. If you hang something, you can either drag it in or straighten the hooks. It saved me many times!
