Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good lure retriever when your fishing from the bank.

Thanks in advance!

I have this one from Bass Pro:

I used it a few times. It is pretty heavy for

long distance retrieval, but it does work. And

depending on the situation, you may use

language not suitable for all audiences.

I'm interested in what ya'll share; I don't do anything in that regard but I oughta start.

Yeah, 65lbs braid. If you hang something, you can either drag it in or straighten the hooks. It saved me many times!

I really need to buy one of those... To many lost strike kings and spros!!!!

I just picked up one of these.

I haven't used mine yet - the quality of the machining and design is exceptional.

I use a telescoping lure retriever from Frabill. If I can reach it, I can almost always get it back.

I think that the telescoping poles are probably best for bank fishing purposes.  A certain number of snags you aren't going to get back no matter what kind of lure retriever you've got.
