  1. Technically yes. I put them in to see if they fit/work and they were fine. You also need the zillion G/Steez A drag stack. They're difference from the steez svtw. No on the water experience with it. Just tinkered last winter on the bench cleaning.
  2. I have 4 of the steez A 1 as well as a Steez A II. There's no difference in spool between the two. Difference is gears but I've put the USDM zillion set in my steez A's. These reel's excel at 1/4oz +. I have one dedicated to 1/4oz swim jigs that casts/skips with ease.
  3. @Siebert Outdoors morel and morel xl heads are great. Buy his stuff so he stops buying grills from Temu.
  4. I have the 873 nrx+ and the gen2 7’2H adrena. Nrx is, to me, much more sensitive. They’re comparable in power with the 873 being the more powerful of the two. Adrena balances like a dream. 873 is also good. Adrena is a more moderate than the nrx as well. Not much but noticeable .
  5. Kastking quality exceeds all manufacturers post 2020 and it’s not close
  6. The JDM Zillion G is the same reel as the USDM aside from main gear material. The JDM Zillion G uses the Daiwa aluminum main gear and pinion. The USDM uses a brass main/aluminum pinion gear. I have a couple of each. Fantastic reels.
  7. you should see two indents on the magnetic rings. line those up and put the brake dial on max. install /w the dial clip that way.
  8. Some of, it not, the most quiet braid I've ever used. Very, very smooth, too. My favorite braid for sure.
  9. Daiwa Bape. Will probably never find one.
  10. I use the boca spool pin pliers for the majority of reels. It's ideal , or functional, for 90% of the reels out there. Require some touch sometimes to align a pin but it really works well removing pins. Just gotta make sure you watch for a tapered spool pin. For everything else, and it also works for most reels as well, the hedgehog spool pin(same as the above roro that bulldog mentioned-just an older version-) is best for spools /w tapered pins and aligning spool pins evenly. You can get buy with either one but it's best to have both. I haven't used the roro pin removed but just looking at it, I would probably opt for that over the hedgehog if I had to choose.
  11. Zillion G gears fit morethan/steez A reels.
  12. The Morethan shared gears /w the steez A. The first rendition of their duralumin gears were incredibly smooth but were very susceptible to premature wear in the main gear from hard hooksets, for me at least. I got a few years out of them and the steez svtw before I began replacing them. I replaced all my steez A and morethan /w the USDM Zillion G gear set. TackleTrap usually has them in stock or you get source from Daiwa. Not that expensive. Also, the lower pinion bearing on Daiwas isn't , usually, an issue like a shimano, but I've had it a couple times.
  13. Putting spool into reel puts a load on the gears and bearings. Being a metanium, I would guess it’s gears or the lower pinion bearing. I wouldn’t bother flushing and attempting to clean frame bearings. Just replace them with a quality SS. Both Spool bearings though need to be flushed(correctly) and oiled with a small single drop of oil. Stock shimano bearings spin forever cleaned and dry.
  14. @Siebert Outdoors makes the best ones. Buy his stuff so he keeps making stuff. He makes good stuff.
  15. Go custom first. If not, p5 popx would be my choice
  16. this guy https://www.powerteamlures.com/3-5-craw-doeuvre-1/
  17. Here's an unboxing video. Looks like a more compact 16' steez svtw. Looks great. Not a huge fan of the handful of 32mm spools I've used but I think I'll Definitely going to get one at the PLAT price.
  18. Just going by a few videos I’ve seen of it, it looks like a more compact version of the zillion G. I don’t think it’s as low profile as the 16’ svtw. But it’s impossible to make an accurate statement with just a video. It just looks like it sits taller on a rod, but I could be wrong on that. They moved the brake dial to the underside like the zillion where it’s not recessed in the side plate anymore. 5.6oz yeah it looks like it’s gonna start to trickle in between December and March with various models. Plats price of 487(ish) is a great deal for it.
  19. The only difference is the USDM uses a brass main gear and the JDM uses a duralumin main gear. Both USDM and JDM use a duralumin pinon gear. I just had to replace my JDM gears after a couple years. Put a USDM gear set in it. My USDM zillions are still holding up.
  20. TW…being shady….check your prices before and after adding cart
  21. TackleTrap is open again. Gary moved to New York and reopened it up there. his new website is up and running now as well. same address and he has handles you're looking for.
  22. So, based on EXACTLY what you just said here, "no less" than 6 guys make AT LEAST 12k a month guiding and cannot afford to take a month off because their finances aren't in a place where 12k a month net income isn't enough? You're telling us that AT LEAST 6 guides on Toledo bend gross 144k a year? For clarification, 6th place in the opens is 12k where first is 50. So you're saying that bass guides are making between 144k and 600k a year and this wasn't worth taking a month off for those wages + a classic berth? A guarantee is a guarantee right? So at least 6 guys wouldn't take a guarantee 12k? lol, okay.
  23. the in between is the most important.
