  1. I have more expensive reels but for pure satisfaction I would have to say my Zillion SV. Over 100 hard fighting steelhead on it and still butter smooth. I have had many cars in my life (96 to be exact) and the most satisfying of them all - a 2009 Cadillac DTS. Still have it too!
  2. Great thanks I think I will have to do this- HRF PE having the same issues.......
  3. I cleaned and lubed with no change. Rather than ruin it myself trying to replace parts any recommendations to send it for repair?
  4. 2019 Daiwa Morethan has gone "geary" on me. Does anyone know what will be a direct fit for new main and pinion?
  5. Dropped off a broken rod mid July and still waiting...........
  6. You should see it about next summer...........
  7. Nothing like the sound of a hot steelhead peeling off line racing all over the river- Love the sound and have added clickers to all my reels that came without.
  8. Daiwa HRF PE- Smooth as silk after 100+ salmon
  9. Back on topic does anyone know where a guy can find an 8'-9' UL casting rod? NFC makes a 901 blank and I recently broke mine but may just have to get a few more made.
  10. Check out the company reviews before thinking about placing an order with them-You may get your rods in 1 month or 10 no matter what they tell you if you can ever get anyone to answer the phone. Great rods but worst customer service I have experienced EVER and many, many more agree.
  11. Daiwa Morethan PE Zillion SV Zebco?
  12. Best fit to my hand of any reel I have had was the Chronarch MGL but after replacing the original main/pinion and it going "geary" as well I finally decided they just were not cut out to handle steelhead.
  13. Yes, great reel! I'm surprised they are not more popular. No issues hauling in 20#+ salmon
  14. Always been a tat fan but since the zillion sv showed up it maybe time to part with them-There's no going back..................
