Setting Hooks With Senko Help
I'd rule out other fish first. Around here, bluegill will make you think a bass has it, but it's a bluegill. On my hookset, I just lift straight up and 99% of the time, that gets them.

Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon
Hoot, I have 36 acres so your heart should be content!

Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon
Thanks guys! I'll just order some InvizX and be done with it. I've used it for several years now and love it. Plus, the wife canceled the fishing trip this weekend anyhow. I get to mow grass and clean the floors instead.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
I have my trolling motor mounted on the front. I have it deep enough to just clear the sides when I turn it. I'm not real sure how far it is under the water, though. The rudder is the same way, just under the surface of the water and it's about 9" tall.

They paint them orange to warn you.

Shimano Rods.....
To add to this, you have to pinch the foam grip and dribble the nail polish in there. A few drops has worked for me.

Shimano Rods.....
When I first got my Crucial, I had the same problem. The seat would loosen and I was scared to get it too tight for fear of breaking it. The way I solved it was with clear nail polish. Take the reel off and loosen the nut all the way. Smear a good coat of cleat nail polish on the threads, put the reel on and tighten. After the nail polish dries, it will keep the nut from backing off with normal use. However, if you need to remove the reel, you can still break the bond. So far, this has worked great for me.

Feeding Question
Unlike us, bass have to survive. They eat whatever is availible. Certian times of the year some forages are more readily availible than others. Do some studying for your area and go from there.

Best All Around Jig/plastic/worm Rod
My #1 is a Falcon Cara micro finesse jig. I also have a Lamiglas Infinity Bass 735, which is awesome, but the Falcon is ichiban. I never leave with out it.

Finesse Casters?
I have a 50E on a Falcon Cara Micro finesse jig. I can throw a 3" Senko on a #2 light wire hook (.140 oz) about 30~35 feet.

How about "Weapons of Bass Destruction"?

So, you don't think this guy can produce jigs that are just as good, if not better, than the ones you named?

I'm pretty sure that however you can attach a senko to a hook, it will catch fish.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
I will. It might be a couple of weeks, but next time I have it out, I'll get some pics and post them.

Shimano And Price Drop
Yeah, I want 2 in LH!

Shore Fishing With Hard Baits
The 50lbs braid helps. When I was fishing from the banks and got hung up, I would either drag in what I was hung on, or I'd straighten the hooks. Spending $20 on a spool of braid saved me $200 in lures.

Pond Fishing Problems
What are your rod and reel specs? I can cast a 3" senko weightless using a #2 hook about 50'. This weighs .141 ounces and is under what the rod is rated for. You should be able to smoke a 5" senko.

Trying To Stop You From Fishing A Dock
Yep, it all comes down to respect. If someone doesn't want you fishing around their dock, then don't fish around their dock. Reguardless of what the law says, the golden rule is the best. Show some respect. Don't be a tool. If the tables were turned, wouldn't you want some respect?
