What is your dropshot setup? What is it? And what line and lb do you throw? Mine is a Daiwa Steez megatop 6'11" med lite ex fast. Paired up with a Shimano stradic CI4+ 2500 with 7lb sunline FC sniper

I am about to buy this rod off a friend for a reaonable price and was mainly wanting to drop shot ( I know that make an actual dropshot rod , but can this rod still be used for this application?)
