I have been using a cheap Abu blue max combo I'm borrowing from someone that has 20lb braid and its a M/F.... Its been alright.

I ordered a 6' 9" ML/XF St.Croix Mojo spinning rod and a 6930X Pflueger President reel, got some 8lb fluoro I'm gonna try to fish straight on it but if I don't like it I'm gonna go back to a braid + leader setup... Can't wait until I can use this setup!

yes it is the Mojo, I have only fished with it a hand full of times, I picked it up in mid October and being in Wisconsin it gets cold quick, the few times I took it out I was impressed, the rod is very light weight, balances well, it is a true XF taper as well, sensitive for the money, the braid obviously helps a bit, I'm also going to use this for walleye jigging, so far I'm impressed.

Anyone interested in the Mojo should also take a look at the Eyecon series.  Same blanks, different grips and hardware, similar price.
