  1. What is the word on the new mega stick? They were coming out with a new one that had a more durable egg sack for wacky rigging. I haven't seen anything and was just wondering. Thanks, Scott.
  2. Megabass Pop max.
  3. The VMC Ike weedless wacky hooks are horrible. The weed guard is so stiff, it could be used as a leafspring on a dump truck. Gamakatsu has a wierguard worm hook that works really good and the wide gap finesse hook weedless is also great.
  4. Thats for casting "gangsta" style. Y'all don't cast that way? Accuracy is horrible, but it looks cool.

  6. I tried it with jigs, might as well have used elastic. I switched to InvisX
  7. Is anybody using the Optima yellow top batteries on these. A Minn Kota Endura 45 is what I'll use for a motor.
  8. I use them exclusively on wacky worms. They require a different hook set, though. Instead of crossing their eyes, I slowly pull against the weight of the fish. I've never had a problem with the circle hooks.
  9. You have confirmed my thoughts. The 10e is what I'm looking for. Thanks, basshead.
  10. I just called Dicks to order a 10e. I was told it was discontinued and replaced with the Electric. Does this make sense? The price was the same as the 10e and it is prewired for the trolling motor. Thanks.
  11. Watching the weather last night, y'all were catching it. Not too bad in Oxford, MS today, kinda cool and a little snow. Roads are fine for the most part, a little slick in a few spots but not too bad.
  12. I have a Lamiglass Infinity Bass 735 and a 51 mg7 and that combo will sling them way out there. Its an awesome rod that you never hear of.
  13. I think it was '09 and Skeet used the Lucky Craft Redemption.
  14. I have too many. But I need more. I have mine categorized by worms, swimbaits, creatures and craws. Probably 25lbs of each. But I saw a few more that I'll pick up next time.
  15. I've had really good with the Berkley Havoc Grass Pig. I use it with a weighted and unweighted hook, depending on conditions. My best coloer are pearl white and swamp gas.
  16. I use the craw scent on things that immitate craws. Everyhing else gets the original scent.
  17. Mine was a character on Sanford & Son. I thought it sounded cool and adopted it. It's what I use on most forums I belong to.
  18. What local shop? You're in Memphis, right?
  19. After cleaning them and using a lighter lube, they will be louder. It doensn't bother me though, I like hearing them babies sing! I've heard some that were just loud. Mine were only marginally louder than stock. I have the Bocca OS in my Core 51 and they are dry. It doesn't seem any louder than stock Shimano bearings that have been cleaned and lubed with a thin oil.
  20. Well, Hooligan, looks like we're on our own with this one. I'm gonna get the 7'2" rod next time I see it. I'm confident enough that it should be fine for what I'm gonna use it for.
  21. I'm looking for a general purpose crank rod and the Crucial Crankbait 7'2" has my attention. Does any one have any opinions about this rod? Thanks, Scott.
  22. How does one become a member? I looked into it before and couldn't figure it out.
  23. I'll vouch for The Tackle Trap, also. Brian has a great crew that will take care of you. Just give him a call, he'll steer you straight.
  24. Heck yeah! The only thing I don't like about them is the finish. They will start to look old really quick.
