  1. Yeah, how much? I'm interested in a 51 if they have it.
  2. I got a bottle of the TSI 321 and 301. I'm testing to see how well it protecet against rust and so far, it's inreal. I took a piece od 1/4 round CRS and put the 321 on one end of it. I have the whole thing under 6" of tap water and you can clearly tell the end that was treated. This stuff seems to be the gig so far. I've been meaning to do the 301 the same way, but can't remember to bring it from home.
  3. I machined me a tool for installing the o rings. It worked good and then I got the wacky saddle kit. That is the gig. My ratio went up and the worms last a lot longer. I like it because the hook is perpendicular to the worm.
  4. When this project is over, you should come back and give us report.
  5. I still use them. I've had the best luck with the 8" blueberry and the 12" strawberry. What I like best about them is your hands don't smell like week old buzzard puke after handling them. These were texas rigged on a 4/0 and 6/0 Owner twist lock.
  6. I have the micro finesse and love it for small jigs and weightless plastic. I'm not sure it would be a good one for pitching, though.
  7. I don't have the Bucoo but I do have the Cara Micro with a 50E mounted on it. You can feel the bass looking at your jig.
  8. I would think that the fluorocarbon is more dense, so it carries more mass with it as the lure is in flight. Sounds cool, anyway...
  9. If you're considering the Chronarch, I'd save up until I had enough for it. Them babies are smoother than smooth. I love mine.
  10. Weapon of Bass Destruction.
  11. A couple of the small packs of tissue. You never know when a deuce may slip up on ya.
  12. I'll disagree with this. If graphite was as strong as Al, then why are they making reels out of Al? They make reels out of graphite because the material is cheaper and the molds are less complex. Graphite is easier on the tooling, also. The dies for casting aluminum can be quiet complex.
  13. I'm pretty sure I have an idea.
  14. Thats what I'm talkin about, massbass! Riiiiiico.........Suaaave.
  15. I was able to spend more time with it today. This baby is Rico Suave smooth! Man. I really like this.
  16. islandbass, it does look good on the Veritas. However, I feel like I'm cheating the reel by putting it on that rod, but I love the rod. You can straighten hooks with it.
  17. I just got a new Chronarch 201E5 (Thanks Tackle Trap) and mounted it to my Veritas 7' heavy, and man, talk about some casting! This thing will flat put a swimbait into orbit. I did clean the spool bearings, and used some Ardent oil on them. Really pleased and looking forward to using it more this fall, especially with this mid 80's temp in the middle of August.
  18. You can save by filling about half of you spool with cheap mono, then filling the rest with your braid. This will also stop the braid from slipping on the spool.
  19. I have a Falcon Cara T7 Micro Guide Casting Rods 6'10" Med Hvy and it seems good to me. It's paired with a Curado 50E.
  20. Has anybody tried the Wacky Saddle kit? I use that along with the Gamakatsu 2/0 wireguard work hook. This seems like the gig where I fish.
  21. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Core. I was wondering if there was another reel that was comparable that I should look at. I have a Curado 50E that I use for plastics, but was wanting to get another setup for plastics. I've been saving my money and ready to pull the trigger. What should I do? Thanks, Scott.
  22. I hear ya Sam. You can't buy those two colors in Oxford! Maybe you could provide those? And being typical Ole Miss, I figure football season will be even slower when it starts.
