  1. I made my own with a Owner twist lock, split ring and a drop shot weight. I rig a BPS floating 8" lizzard. You can smokem' in the spring time.
  2. XCalibur XCS100 in Tennessee shad and foxy lady.
  3. I was looking at the Nano Fusion but was turned off because it didn't have a hook keeper. I would have thought a $300 rod would have one. I also read where Airrus was coming out with more rods in the Nano Fusion line up. If these have the hook keeper, I'll be getting one. These rods have some unique features that I liike. I'm looking at the Lamiglas Infinity Bass now.
  4. If you're using an old hook to practice with, you might want to take some wire cutters and cut the point off of the hook. This could save some blood if you slip.
  5. I have the Falcon Cara micro finesse jig and love it. I use it for small jigs and weightless plastics. I have the reel spooled with CXX and I can still tell what my bait is doing. I want to get another rod for bottom contact but I can't find any reviews on what I'm looking at.
  6. Lamiglas says it's a M/H. Would their power rating be off that much? I would just like a good rod for heavier plastics and medium sized jigs.
  7. Has anyone fished with this rod? I was looking at the 735C. It's a very intresting looking rod and I'd like to hear what others think. Thanks, Scott.
  8. Yeah, I meant Chronarch E. And the Curado G only has one bearing and no way to add a second. Thanks.
  9. And there's 2 per knob, correct?
  10. I'm wanting to put bearings in the handle on my Chronarch G. Does anyone know what size it takes? I'm ordering some for a project at work and was gonna get some for the reel knobs but it's at the house. Thanks, Scott.
  11. The last time I was in Japan, I bought a few bass fishing magazines. I can't read a word in them, but they have some really cool stuff available. There are fishing stores as big as a WalMart, but the good ones are just a hole in the wall.
  12. I have the Wacky Saddle kit and I really like it. It also keeps the hook perpendicular to the worm.
  13. Is this available in any stores? I was gonna place an order with Megastrike but the shipping was gonna be $10.95. I had the attractant, a couple of jigs and a couple of spinner baits. I thought the shipping was too much so I quit.
  14. I would look at the cost of living vs. salary. It might not cost as much to live down here.
  15. These are the only hooks I use for texas rigging.
  16. Irene is getting sleepy!
  17. Chrome, I do like it and I am afraid to throw it! I might take the hooks off and throw it some. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
  18. It was sent straight from TW. RW, I'd love a lesson on how to use it, and the rest of my stuff.
  19. I don't know who got my name but thanks. I'll be sure to make some lips sore with it.
  20. Mine is gone! Should be there on Monday.
  21. I have my stuff ready to send, as soon as the dumb post office on campus opens. And, my boy is getting hooked up, to the tune of $60. Merry Christmas everybody!
  22. I use a 7' Veritas H/XF and a Cronarch E with 17lbs fluoro. It works nice with 3/4oz and 1oz.
  23. That will teach him. Them top water grenades are dangerous.
  24. Neither the 321 nor the 301 are dry lubes. The 321 is a good bit thicker than the 301. The 301 has a carrier that evaporates after applying it, leaving a thinner film. The 321 has THE best corrosion protection I've ever seen.
  25. Falcon Cara micro finness jig and a CU50E. Bam!
