  1. There needs to be a sticky made with this, like the senko sticky.
  2. I don't see how it could be .01mm. That would be .0004 inches. And as a machinist, that is tiny.
  3. Yeah, green flash is exclusive to DSG. You can get it in their senko kit or in the pack. I have a few packs and have to admit, it's a hot color. Almost as good as watermelon magic.
  4. I'm not sure of the reason, but I'd gladly pay 20cents more, just to get a usable bag. Gladly.
  5. I love my 51Mg7! But, the Curado 51 isn't far behind it. Plus, you could almost by two Chronarchs' for the price of the Core. If I had it to do over, thats probably what I'd do.
  6. The first thing you need to use is stealth. And the smaller the pond, the more stealth. I have a few small ones (less than an acre) that I fish. Most of the time I will wait about 10 minutes before I make a cast, just to let things settle down.
  7. What do you think about these? Looks kinda neat but seems weird not tieing a knot.
  8. Awesome fish! It's even more awesome that you shared that experience with you dad.
  9. Are these videos posted anywhere else? I can never get them to play.
  10. If the Cronarch is not out of your price zone, then why step down to the PQ? There is nothing wrong with a PQ, but the Chronarch absolutely smokes it.
  11. I have one of each, Pro Qualifier and a Chronarch E5. I much prefer the Chronarch over the PQ and even more so when it's windy. The downside? It cost twice as much but feels 10 times better.
  12. I learned long ago that it is easier to catch them in the water as opposed to the trees!
  13. I love them. And I don't mind spending that kind of money on a top water, less chance of getting hung on something.
  14. I have a Falcon Cara micro in the finesse jig, with a Curado 50E and 8 lbs Invizx. I cast 3" Senkos with this and it does fine. This is my favorite combo by far.
  15. A Med Heavy with a Fast tip is a great multi purpose rod. You can do most anything with within reason.
  16. Don't forget the Curado I, it's a heck of a reel!
  17. I like the Owner screw lock hooks. I take a razor and slice the body where the hook goes through, then skin hook just the point. The slice in the body lets the hook move more freely.
  18. Cool! I've never seen that.
  19. I would use fluoro for that. I have 8lbs Invizx on mine and love it. Mono give up too much sensitivity in my opinion.
  20. Buy once, cry once. I was once like you, with a limited budget. I'd try to stretch a dollar every direction possible, to get the most out of it. Some things you can cut corners on, others you can't. NEVER cut corners on your foundation, and your rod and reel are part of your foundation. Another place you should never cut corners on are shoes, tires, and mattresses (things between you and the ground).
  21. Yeah, the Chronarch 50 is pretty much the same as the Curado 50. Go ahead and get it, you won't regret it!
  22. I use a Falcon Cara T7 micro in the finesse jig and a Curado 50E. This combo will sling a weightless 4" way out there. This is my favorite rod and reel.
  23. They look kinda nice! I'll have to check them out when more info is available.
  24. The thing is, with the 2nd day delivery, some one has to sign for it. I don't like that part.
