  1. Both are awesome rods. For the price, I think they are the best rods.
  2. What do you guys think is the best type and size line for soft plastic for both open water and semi heavy cover (Wood). Thanks
  3. hardbaits, especially jerk baits, clown
  4. Opinions on best all around soft plastic bait caster (excluding drop shot, shakey head, etc) Thanks!
  5. Been going out here and their and having some success. I cant seem to find the right baits to catch the majority of the fish. I seem to be catching one or two on one bait, then one or two on another so I guess they arent too picky. Thanks for the help! I also have been struggling to find a good pond jerkbait.
  6. Best tactics for fishing in the winter in small to medium ponds with not much structure and vegetation. Baits, tactics, anything helps!
  7. you dont want braid for poppers and spooks
  8. deep ledges and slow down. Dropshot, c-rig and a crankbait
  9. Dropshots can be awesome baits for just that haha. Stubborn bass. Dropshots do get a lot of heck for being a small fish bait, although, they can be the best bait to you big bass in a lot of conditions.
  10. what is the best way to tag a bass? can you just use zip ties or is that a bad idea? I dont need to track them just to see how often i am catching the same bass. thanks
  11. You should use a heavier line for you square bills. They go through a lot of rough stuff and you really shouldn't be worried about getting that extra foot with a shallow bait.
  12. Your picture just made my day
  13. ugly sticks are great starter rods but there are better rods...check out berkly lightning rods
