Winter Pond
Been going out here and their and having some success. I cant seem to find the right baits to catch the majority of the fish. I seem to be catching one or two on one bait, then one or two on another so I guess they arent too picky. Thanks for the help! I also have been struggling to find a good pond jerkbait.

Drop Shotting
Dropshots can be awesome baits for just that haha. Stubborn bass. Dropshots do get a lot of heck for being a small fish bait, although, they can be the best bait to you big bass in a lot of conditions.

Squarebill Line And Rod
You should use a heavier line for you square bills. They go through a lot of rough stuff and you really shouldn't be worried about getting that extra foot with a shallow bait.
