Well we went to best buy today and looked at some laptops. Me and my wife have 2 completly diffrent views on what we want. She wants the smallest laptop possible because there "cute" and fit in her purse. Me I want the biggest, fastest, most powerful one there is or something like it. She likes this little dinky gateway or toshiba one they techie there said there not really worth it because she can't multi task and there slow which is very bad for my wife she wants everything instant she has no patience. I was looking at this toshiba satalite I think its called it was fairly good sized can't remeber specs but it was like 750gb and price was either 7 or 800. The other one I likes was a sony v some thing lol sorry not a computor guy can't remember or know what half were. So is toshiba or sony a good brand? I'm not gonna make the purchase till like end of october unless we get one threw like RAC but I don't know how I feel bout getting one threw there.

I usually wear my extra combat boots or an old pair of sneakers

I tried getting on there website but can't because I don't have flash on my phone and I don't have a computor so I couldent even check them out.

That would be sweet but I don't want a tactical rifle just a semi auto tack driver that's why I was leaning towards the ar platform I was gonna do a heavy fluted barrel, freefloating hand guards, custom trigger, fixed stock, completly flat top ect. I don't see the need for all these tac rifles and shot guns you will never use I mean seriously all these tac shot guns people buy because there house MIGHT be robed half the people buying them have never fired a round and if it came to go time would forget to **** the gun or work the safty let alone squeeze the trigger 99% of the time landing THEM in jail not the burgler. And tac rifles yeah cuz everyone does room clearing lol id rather spend the money on a gun that will actually be used.

Idk I just know a few people who have them thought they were good. Iv never had a mp3 player of any sort I still have an old arse sony cd player I use and still pay for cds for 12 crappy songs and 1 good one well now a days its more like 7 crappy songs and 1 good one no one ever releases that many songs anymore.

That's gotta suck I've never had it or known anyone who's had it. I did break my jaw when I was little though I don't remember it I was 3 I just know what iv been told. We did have a guy over the weekend at drill get his jaw dislocated by the dentist at ft. Drum that had to have sucked he was walking around drooling blood crying till the vicadin kicked in I felt bad for the guy he was behind me inline and I was joking how I got all my teeth and never had a cavity and plan on keeping it that way and he goes in right after me needs a tooth pulled and they crush his tooth and dislocate his jaw prying it out.

It will be used for more then just skype and movies I'll use the crap outa it the plt sgt just used skype,movies,music as examples. Can u get them with built in CAC(common access car) readers because that would be a huge help as well.

Thanks guys I have to buy 2 of them one for the house and one to take with me so I will probably buy hers first and go to best buy or the apple store and do some scoping around to see what will suit our needs the best. I don't mind paying the extra money because this is something we really need and will benifit from I mean I'll be able to talk and see my boys being half a world away because smart phones ain't gonna cut it especialy over there lol.

I'm not sure depends how long I wait if I get one now maybe 700 if I wait till I'm at mob station then like 1500. My wife says just get one from walmart but I think that's a bad idea yeah there cheap but u get what u paid for.

I need to get a laptop befor I deploy its been out to get one and well I don't own a computor never have. So I have no clue what to look for in a laptop it needs to be able to play movies and skype is there any thing specific I should look for or stay away from. Arnt apples like the best. Thanks

I seen them last winter they look really nice along with some of there other baits but iv never ordered or used any.

An M21 would be extremly sick but there like 3000 bucks that's a bit much the M1A(M14) is like 1200-2000.

Me and my grenadier were talking this week about guns we want after deployment and we both want a semi .308(7.62) and we've been bouncing around basicly a built ar10 by dpms 2 diffrent styles in what we like but same basic gun or a sprinfield M14. Both would be sweet rifles the ar will be cheaper but that M14 is just nasty. I personally think the AR10 would be the best bang for your buck plus there no end to what you can do with it. The M14 well its still a tack driver and old military guns are sweet but I think at 1000M/yds the AR platform will run circles around the M14. I mean we could always go bolt action but these are just 2 guns we've both always wanted. What do u guys think between the 2 there gonna be used for both target shooting and hunting where legal with the right magazines.

Sounds like my wifes family she's the youngest of 3 girls everythings a little compatition and they all gossip and snow ball little problems into big ones but my mother inlawy is usually the source where the gossip starts. Sad thing is my wife is 14 years younger then her one sister and 18 years younger then the other and they still all act like there the same age in highschool its so annoying.

iv never heard of a shop not doing work because of an airbag iv never turned on down because of it its not hard but can be intimidating I guess. As far as where it is I would have too look in the manual. It kinda sounds like a short in the clock spring or the horn button. U could always move the switch to the dash but that's usually illegal and 2 can be a hassel/unsafe.

For me depends on the day some days they kill it soon as it gets wet others I gotta lwt it sink. I also keel weight it at times

Mine helps occasionly when she want me to do the gotee thing she just does it in the shower after cutting my hair

Birds! I catch a lot of fish by watching the birds when I see gulls or king fishers hovering and diving a spot I know there's baitfish i f I can get to that spot I usually throw a fluke or spinner and start nailing bass or trout if on the big lake. Also one thing iv noticed is other wild life like say deer or bunnies if there active and out moving around 9 times outa 10 the fish are the same way and I have an awsome day.

The only downside to fishing alone is when u catch a big one the pics are crappy because ur either standing over a floping fish or your arms extended and u gotta hold the camera out behind u to get the whole thing in the picture. I got some monster pike this year I never got pics of because I was alone and what pics I did take were crap because they floped all over and they were blurry or u got there green back in greem grass.

Always remember your ear pro I'm laying in bed 130 am can't sleep because my ears are ringing because for 1 I forgot to put my plugs in befor doing a night fire qualification befor heading to afghanistan and 2 we just got back but always wear earplugs or muffs. This sucks

Take off work and hunt durring the week. They coyote things a good deal that's how I get into a lot of places to hunt I start asking farmers to whack coyotes,groundhogs,coons ya know nuesince animals almost all are happy to let you and after a season they usually offer me to hunt deer. Between arr the farms iv got god idk a few thousand acres one farmer owns a whole village pretty much there's no peice of woods or field I can't hunt for miles.

Wow old topic funny this is I was gonna make a thread about shaving just the other day after some comments from some new guys in my unit. They couldent belive I was just sitting at my tent with a disposable razor dry shaving against the grain with out even wincing. Even when I'm home I only shave my neck unless its befor a drill weekend and I still dry shave when I have a sink and cream if I want it. But grow a grizzly beard its what I do I shave once a month unless on post.

Why does it matter what the temp is. I'm in the same boat as u or lack there of I don't care what the temp is I just plug away till I find the right combo

I use a ziplock bag both when fishing and out at drill when its raining works great because u can still use the phone without taking it out of the bag or a box
