I had this problem yesterday but from other bank fisherman. Aparently the salmon run has started and there were some guys at the dam after I was allready there for 2 hrs they waded out and set there lines. I just did some strategic pitching pulling smallmouth between there sets. I told them salmon don't make it that far up for another 2 or 3 weeks especially in this low water but they figured salmon swim at light speed and can make the 20mile trip over night in less then a foot of water in most of the river

I think you should be fine I have a lumina and aztec now both have been fine for me and I do go off roading lol. My previous whip was a 97 2 door toyota tercel I threw 235 cooper weathermasters on the front and it was my "boat" I used to drive that little car up the river water coming up threw the rusted floor boards just to climb out and stand on the hood and cast. I was younger and always had a few adult beverages in me but its proof small cars can still git r done. Not to mention all the deer that have been stuffed in the trunk or straped to the roof.

Idk what's worse with mine the PMS or prego roller coaster of emotions. At least the monthly visitor can be some what planned ahead for I used to always know around the 28th to disapear lol but in the 3 years weve been together 18mo of it she was prego

We never got a storm storm but just cold windy and rainy till yesterday and today the fishing is GREAT when I do find em there hitting and fighting hard. I got a northern earlier this after noon she had a blue gill wedged in its belly another in its throat and it still destroyed my spinner. The bass are all round and fat as well

Has anyone noticed a diffrence in quality depending on where u buy ur hooks from? I usually get mine from walmart because its convieniant but I picked up some gammys at dicks last night same ones I get from wally world and they are considerably sharper crazy sharp. The ones from walmart are sharp but not sticky sharp like these other ones. Has anyone else noticed this I remember in economics back in school we watched a video about rapala sends there "failed" lures to walmart so they can be sold cheaper but idk if that's true.

What's the worst thing you have done with mega strike on your fingers? Today I was putting some on a fluke when a bug flew and got stuck like between my lips instictivly I swated and rubbed mega strike all over my lips it was sooooooo gross I couldent get it off I had to pack up go home and drink a ton of arnold palmer tea/lemonade. What about u guys what's the worst

Haha yup same here but it was more flukes and swivels for the double fluke rig but that stuff wasn't on sale.

Well dicks is still having that huge sale they had 1 curado there for $75 but I didn't buy it maybe next week if its still there but I did stock up on owner twistlock hooks 5/0 got 5 packs at 1.98 each for a 5 pack then they had some xcaliber xr50 real craw cranks for 2.48 so picked up some of them. They also had other stuff like TT weights for 1.98 a pack some slugos for like 1.50 a lot of cheap jigs for .98 but everything in the fishing section with a .97 or .93 ending was still 50% off I'm just happy I loaded up on some good owner hooks for dirt cheap

Yeah 58gr is as light as u can go with the .243. I did get the big splat but it wasn't on a chuck but a big fat rabbit and again on a squirel I think chucks are just to dense or something idk.

My father in law does he uses a T/C contender in .357 maximum. He has to hand load because they don't make the rnd any more but holy crap it destroys the deer its almost to much gun but where we hunt its small stretch of land and the neighbors are jerks for a lack of a better word and don't let us track onto there property even though we let them onto ours to get wounded game. So he just smokes em with that .357 max its like a semi truck plowed into them.

I was just thinking the other day watching top shot about them 2 commercials and posting something. I like the boot one when kvds like "well looky there" as he pulls the bass out and the one in bps where there like "its ok I know a guy" there both funny I think

Thanks steve he does ask to go every day exept he's noticed the weather change at 2 that its hunting season and asks to shoot chipmonks everyday because he's terrified of them chipmonks, bucks, and crappie he thinks ever fish is a crappie lol. Everyday he asks to shoot or catch them.

Took my son noah out today to get us both out of the nut house for the night. Started off slow so he started throwing rocks in the water and playing in the dirt till they started biting. Once one bit it was on soon as the worm touched the water the bober followed suit and dove under to. We missed a lot more then we landed but it was fun he sat on my lap and reeled em in he even got his first bass it was only 3 inches long but its a start he even gave it a good ol jimmy hustin kiss on his own lol. The rest were all blue gill I got a video of him fighting a gill but idk how to post it threw tiny pic if it will show up for y'all to watch

Welcome to the forums I used to switch a lot and now I don't switch nearly as much unless I'm really desprate for strikes. If your eventhinking about you next lure chances are u don't have confidence in what your throwing and confidence is key. Iv gotton to the point where I can read the water and conditions and get it right the first time like on bright days white and silver always produce for me darker days anything black or red it seems. So I don't change a lot other then rods going from grass to open water to wood or rocky cover but lures are usually close to same size and color so I'm not really changing much other then my probability of getting hung up.

There so cheap we picked ours up at a gunshow for 120 with all the goodies. The bayonets are listed in cheaper than dirt for 80 so really if ya wanted sell it and the gun only cost ya 20-40 dollars. I want to pick up a few more just cuz there so fun to shoot and I want to get the old scope for one but I don't want to cut the bolt on it so buy 2 one with open sights one scoped like vasily zietsev(sp)

I almost want to go back to college just to join a bass team but idk how that works ill be d**n near 30 befor I could go back I'm not sure if that would exclude me from sports but its been an idea mulling around in the back of my head.

Smart choice! I teach diesel/ag mechanics at the high school level its a very smart field to go into u can do so so so many things in this industry. Personaly of all the schools that come into the class to sell there school UNOH is by far the best one. Yeah UTI has all the fancy commercials and "bling" to attract kids I feel its gotton to big and gotton away from its roots and is more about making money then really teaching kids. I went to Baran Institute of Technology its now lincoln tech and it is one of the worst schools now IMO. Also UTI is EXPENSIVE if I remember correctly UNOH is very affordable iv had several kids go there sense I started teaching 3 years ago and they all love it. My suggestion is put in for a rep to come talk to u but DON'T let them pressure you the ones that come to my classroom are pretty good exept the lincoln tech guy he's clue less and pushy.
