Here in wny the county I mostly hunt is shotgun only for deer. Those of u who are shotgunners what slugs do use and out of what gun. Last year I used hornady sst out of my 870 20ga I'm gonna use the same this year if I can find them they were sparse last year and iv only got 5 left which I'll burn up befor the season starts just confirming zero and blowing up pumpkins lol.

Heck leave the wife more room for the kids and gear lol one less head ache

That does make sense because it shut down completly when I broke off a 2 maybe 3 lber he was jumping like crazy and I had em on my UL and a jackall ishad jig head and a mini super fluke. He jumped and then made a hard run under a log and broke off not a bite after that moment till I got 100yds down stream.

Yeah I moved down as far as I could stoping at every big rock pile and tree in the water till I got a snag with my last tube and I didn't bring any tackle just 3 poles no spare lures. I got that last tube snaged and contomplated going swiming in my work jeans and boots......I jumped in it was only knee deep on the edges it wasn't the first time them boots have been soaked won't be the last lol. I worked another half mile down befor I couldent find any fish. The bite was fast and furious though id drop either a tube or fluke by the tree let it sink just outa sight and start to lift to find a swarm of smallies atttacking the rig like hornets on a nest.

Iv heard several times diffrent places that u can shut down a school of fish by throwing them back and that u can fish the school longer by putting them in your livewell till u leave. Now I'm a bank fisherman and don't have a live well so how true is this. I ask because yesterday I found some smallies and they were schooled up pretty heavy id pull one out and 5 more would chase it in or they would be smacking the fluke that slid up the line well the other is hooked. I managed to pull 4 out fairly quick and broke one off but then it just shut down did I kill the bite or do u think they wised up and figured hey that white things yank all my buddys out by there face. I was also thinking even if they do release this what ever that shuts em down it was a strong river and the "scent" would of been swept away.

Got out again last night for a hot bite with the smallies nothing big well that I landed I had 2 break me off and 1 that was 5+ throw it boy was I upset after all that work getting him out of the tree to have him send my tube back at me. Iv heard the pitting this from moly as well but I haven't had an issue I read and talked in the shop with guys bout it they said only if there's high moisture or moisture in the barrel. I'm shooting hornady 58.gr moly varmint express threw the .243 On a side note I want to get into benchrest shooting seriously but I don't have the money to sink into the rifle or the ammo yet not to mention there's no where to shoot around here much farther then 300m there's a few spots I can push 500 or even 1000 depending on what crop is planted.

I know the procedure iv done it. I also use moly bullets but that's a whole nother game all in its own I loose some accuracy after cleaning till iv shot a few rounds to re coat the barrel. Nothing drastic I go from shooting .386 to about .8"

Do any of you break in your barrels. Some people swear by it others say its not necessary others have never heard of it. What's your guys take on it. I broke mine in on my new .243 it was a long process but I think it was worth it I have a cheap marlin XS7 that's a sub moa rifle that you would normaly have to pay top dollar for and I paid 380 with a bushnell 3x9.

I know a few guys that bat for the wrong team and there cool cuz there not like flamer *** them are the ones I wanna smack the whole limp wrist omg talk like your a 14year old girl kind. One of my roommates in college was bi we think lol. He had a gf at first and he'd hit on girls but we found some tranny videos on his computor and in his room that was just weird but he was the best beer pong player I have ever seen lol. Room mates are usually cool a lot of great experiances that's how I travled a lot in college go see roommates or classmates familys on weekends I went to 17 diffrent states in college just to tag along and party. On side note don't go to another colleges quaterbacks house get friendly with his gf and think you can take on the whole team or the school for that matter it was a fun rumble but also a painfull one lol.
