They were almost out of reels when I was there at least baitcasters all they had left was a few curados and that was over 2 weeks ago. Gander mountain in North tondawanda has a lot of sales going on though also and there only 10mintes apart.

Texas rig it then either traditional trig or use the ball jig thread it ya know like 3/8ths an inch down pop the point turn the grub and texpose and wala weedless. That or get a round shakey head they work the same

Yeah def not with spinners but I don't even get cut with jigs or plastics the biggest problem I have is bringing in clawless craws or tail less worms never broken lines they do turn flukes to ribbons and sink spro frogs nicely

Nice, I have still yet to catch a musky and I'm only an hour away from chautauqua. One of the guys here at work cought one outa the erie canal last week 42" I was stunned iv fished the canal my whole life never cought more then sheepies and catfish id rather get a musky.

I catch northerns constantly and I have yet to have one bite threw 50# braid pp this year and spider wire the previous 3 years. I also don't have a issue with them on 17# flouro never any leaders cuz iv never had am issue I just check my line like I would with any fish. Ps john where was that northland the day we were on lake alice lol I was hoping that was a nice smallie buttttttttt it was a pike

Oh there's water and tons of bass and pike. I usually throw a swiming jig and do ok see my mixed bag post in the trips forum but I got my bass by droping a space monkey over the edge letting line out for a pitch just to find a bass on the end. There's. About 3fow for most of the area I plan on targeting.

Wow iv never needed a deposit for any of my utilitys gas water or electric. The only thing iv had to fork money first for was cable and my cell and that was only 100 and 50.

I need some tips on punching. Iv done it a few times and its still a weak area for me. I'm going out tomorrow night and one of the spots I may hit iv notice all the bass seem to be in the shallow lillypad fields and not in the deep timber. So punching is about the only thing I can think of besides the frog but these pads are thick and tight. Do you just keep flipping your rig out and riping it back up looking for a reaction strike or do u kinda swim it a little. Also what would you use I have some all terrain grass jigs from 1/8 oz all the way up to 1 and 1 1/2 ozs along with tungsten weights up to 3/4oz and plastics out the wazzoo but my rage plastics are dwindling I'm down to 2 packs of craws and 1 space monkey. For a rod I use a 7'6 MHF Veritas with a revo sx and 50# pp.

If u have smallmouth in your area try throwing a mini chart. Or white one there better then a grub most of the time.

I got a few roasts in the freezer I need to start clearing out so I'm gonna have a jerky making weekend. Any recipies you guys might recomend.

The manager at greece well he's what the store is called at least the bald guy me and him got into last year I threatned to rip him over the counter and show him a thing or two lol. He was treating my wife like crap about looking at a gun and I was in a diffrent isle he didn't know we were together. Now when I go if he's there I just avoid that section or if I need assistance I ask for some one diffrent.

Took my son out fishing last night just the 2 of us with no women it was peaceful even with a 2 yearold. We started off slow with only a few little bites landing 2 dinks or as he called them "baby minks". So we moved around a few times finaly settling at the lake down the road from our house and started catching some good sized gills bout a hands size. He loved it we had a system id hook he'd fight em. It was funny because when he got em to the bank it was either "oooooooooh baby" for a big one or "ugh its a mink". He also insisted that towards the end u didn't need hooks just throw the worms in the water "nooooo hooky" but in the end it was a great night he got to have fun with daddy with out mom there yelling not to get close to the water or not to touch the worms or dirt or stones. I just let him throw all the rocks he watned walk in the water what ever he wanted as long as he stayed close and he was a happy camper and threw it all down to fight "isheys in the atar". He stole a pair of Big - Os shorts lol
