It's a Hoyt Rampage XT with a NAP Apache rest. I had a shop set it all up and tune it a few months ago. The shop is pretty reputable just have funky hours so it's hard to get in some times and back in march it was a 4 week turn around an that was the slow season.

Level on my arrow for what? Ya lost me I'm happy I know if a deer steps in range it's a goner. Gonna do some more shooting now just a shot or two at a time in the morning to see how I shoot first thing when it's a bit colder not in the evening to simulate all scenarios

Hunting Pics
That gator is awesome I wanna get one that would be sweet. I can't even imagine only seeing 1 deer in a season deer are so thick up here they are all over I mean I get 7 tags 1 either sex for bow, 1 buck, 4 doe tags, 1 either sex for muzzle loader. That doesn't include the doe tags you can have signed over as well. The only thing that keeps me from tagging completely out a lot is my freezers only hold 3 processed deer lol.

Mountain lions have been released here in NY dec denies it but my Inlaws neighbor has one on trail cam. Same thing went with bears just not released they are just spreading. Use to be only southern tier now there are probably 20 reports a year of spotting them probably more just don say anything. Personally I think this is great, people are scared of bear, mountain lions, coyotes heck even heard a fisherman talkin about swans the other week. The thing is these predators people are scared of attacking them or stealing the cat or dog out of the yard actually rarely rarely do that. They won't eat your pet unless there is a shortage of natural food sources usually. Now I mostly predator hunt I live for chasing coyotes and fox two animals people are worried about attacking I'd bear hunt too if it was legal along with bobcat. Coyotes run at the sight of a human and even a dog most the time now some will come into a dog of they think the dog is eating a meal but they run the dog off not attack and eat it. Bears same way I've encountered them well hunting coyotes they like other predators come looking for the dieing rabbit or deer I'm sounding like looking for a easy meal. Even when acting like a food source when they realize its a human they beat feet and are gone. Now messing with cubs/pups well then your retarded and you deserve the ass whooping any wild animal will put on you. I would love for dec to release more bears or even timber wolf animals that once roamed where I live won't hurt me none I would love to see them flourish again and maybe when my kids can hunt they will be populated enough to allow hunting for them.

Don't mess with their cubs and black bears are more scared of you then you are of them or even your dog. When I dated this girl from PA she used to freak out when bear were in her yard. I used to go out and look at them some times getting close like 30yds and just watch it eat the black berries in her yard.

Ok that's the paper. Now yes there are a lot of FP holes no where near bulls eye like I usually shoot like I stated I wasn't shooting the greatest and honestly I was rushing my FP shots and took a little extra with the BH mainly because well if I missed kiss that arrow goodbye little more expensive. At the end of the day I shot some FPs slow and they are right on the money. Now this is at 30yds my first BH hit high right you can see it on the top right of the target off the paper. I moved my rest again and that's what brought it to the one you see bottom left on the paper with the blue foam pulled out. Another adjustment and that are the hight ones you see in the 8 and 7 ring. Another adjustment and I dropped it to low again that's the one splitting the 8/7 ring on the bottom. So then I just nudged it a bit and got it on the horizontal plane of the bullseye but a little right again. This time I moved the rest left a touch. And that's my final shot holding pin on the center bullseye broad head just right of the POA and then I did 3 shots with FPs an they all went in the 10 ring. Not my best shooting not even close almost ashamed to post that pic I'm used to putting every shot on that red dot. But for rushing and having my kids screaming and running around or wanting to shoot or pull my arrows I was wigging out stressed. I will say at first because some hits were going left with the BH I thought that it was true that moving the rest would mess with the POI of my FP but just as a double check because my FPs were all over last night I told my boys to play in the sand box with the neighbor kid and that I was done and focused and shot again and they went right were I wanted them I'm happy with my results so far. Gonna do some more fine tuning and get my BH and FP touching.

Last night I ended up with BOTH my boys in bed with me I got maybe 2 hours of sleep pure hell. This morning on the way to daycare Noah my 4 year old said he doesn't like staying in his room because he seen some thing red and green crawling on the floor at night. I asked him what it looked like and he said " it's red and green and as big as me and scary" I told him its a reflection on the hard wood floors and the tv. But then my 2 year old kept saying he seen a kitty when we were eating and he pointed at the shelf in the corner and well the cat was no where near it. He kept pointing like it was walking around but the only thing over in the corner was containers of flour, sugar, like baking stuff(yeah I bake cookies) kinda was freaky he swore that a cat was over there but there wasn't.

Do the bladed stay "locked" when pulled out of a target? That's like the general rule for mechanicals the rage and T3 heads when pulled the blades stay locked in place where some collapse back forward. That's what I was told by a DEC officer basically he said if a deer or gravity can't pull it out because the blades lock in the back position.

I'm gonna try some new broad heads I'm gonna see if my buddy's t3 shoots better or maybe the nap kill zone when I get a dang paycheck gotta love the military getting guys paid on time it's been 3 weeks it's irritating when I need cash for stuff I can't use my GOV card on

That would be awesome but everyone treats my boys differently. The ex and her family use fear to control them they whine or are bad and so and so will get you that's why Noah is terrified of chipmunks.

T3 and rage 3 blade are both illegal in NYS because they are considered barbed. The cork screw thing I mentioned I think was like stated earlier a optical illusion. I shot again tonight just quick a few shots at various ranges I shot 10, 20, 30, 40, and 60 yards just to try and see a few things I checked out in videos about knocking points and peep alignment and what not just a quick few shots. I had the neighbor watch he said my arrows were flying like lazer beams lol. Wish I got him to video it but I forgot.

Ok Bow Gurus
That was my thought also if you move the rest it will just move the field points the same. The guy in the video I posted says it something like field points fly the same an true it's just what they do. He doesn't show it he does shoot two shots though don't see what though. He does say in the beginning he is only shooting 1 broad head so maybe the other is a field point I'm not sure. One of the sgts at the armory said the same thing though he said make the rest adjustment it won't affect the field point. Seems counter productive to me but I'm gonna try it.

I've tried laying with him and it worked the first time but I don't feel that the bed is safe enough for me lol. It's just a little chinsy bunk bed I'm 187lbs and my son is maybe 45. I'm afraid it's gonna collapses one o these nights and my 2 year old is underneath so that would be bad very bad.

He has a tv in there with them they get to watch and leave on all night. There is also a night light. The boys love the room can't get em out of it it's got their train set all their trucks and toys you name it they got it. During the day he will be in there climb on top bunk fine and lay and watch tv but soon as I say it's bed time Noah freaks. I've tried getting him to maybe lay with his brother on the bottom but then he cries the cat will get him so idk. He slept with me all night last night but I told him tonight he has to start in his bed if h wakes up he can come in if he wants
