My son on his way into school today asked why there were worms all over the side walk so I told him and he asked if we can pick some up and go fishing. Well he was in school it got my wheels turning that I want to start a little worm farm for him or teach him how to go about catching some big juicy night crawlers. Iv done the shock thing with mild success when I was younger with my friends dads help. Iv just gone out at night with a dim flash light and picked them up that always worked best. Iv also which my mother absolutly loved lol was I used to have a pallet I stapled and covered in carpet and would soak with the hose an left it in te yard all summer an would just lift it collect my bait and go fishing. How do you guys catch your night crawlers? I did have to switch to gulp cuz my son used to release the bought worms back into the dirt when fishing but he's a bit older now and if I catch them I didn't just pay $4 for him to let them go soon as we got to the lake.

Iv been wantin to try the GYB version can't think of it off the top my head but the zoom super fluke gets the nod for me most the time cheap, durable, and they are sold almost everywhere. Now if they sold them in bulk it would be perfect

Yup back on track I'd snag the rod or even a few of them and resell them I'm sure you can find a buyer.......... The rod is supper sensitive I can feel a difference between that and my Veritas rods also I had a jika rig tied on my 7'6 veritas and the same rig tied to the villain for a side by side comparison line was the same also only differences were the rod and reels used. Plus it looks sharp.

This time of year I walk the banks of the river well I used to I have a kayak now but I used to drag tubes up the bank or grubs, spinner baits, mini chatter baits, strike king bitsy jigs, shaky heads with craw, shallow cranks. In the past years iv always bank fished the river but like I said this year iv got the kayak and I'm fishing slightly deeper water 10' is the deepest so far and I'm catching quality fish but not high numbers but its still early. I look for downed trees in the water or submerged logs big rocks that form like a little whirl pool also usually hold fish for me I can toss a tube or grub into the calmer water behind the rock or just in front and let it drift and almost always call the hit before the lure touches the water but iv been fishing this river since I was in diapers so I know it like the back my hand and where all the fish are.

Yeah that was a good deal if I could find more at that price I'd be all over it again. I love my Abu rods and reels iv been thinking of getting a villain spinning. And leave my bar money out of this lol it's almost Friday the only two not exited about it is my wallet and my liver lol.

Right now no matter what I throw I catch what ever swims. In the past week iv caught trout, pike,bass all on the same booyah spinner and Xr50 lipless same 3 species. I have however never caught a large mouth on a tube but I know they will hit it I just don't throw many tubes in largemouth territory usually rocks where it's mostly small mouth.

I'd be all over that like stink on poo I have the 7'1" MH and love it people complained about the grip or reel seat that its uncomfortable I don't even notice. I have mine paired with a REVO3 STX and 15# P-line flouro clear. It's caught 1 bass 11 pike and 13 trout with everythin from spinners, lipless cranks, t-rig I haven't figure out what I want to use it for yet lol.

I don't get the first cast hit/catch thing. Sunday I caught a pike on my first cast and only fished for an hour caught 4 pike not one was a dink. Does it only work with bass? Maybe cuz I was out a few hours earlier it wasn't first cast of the day but just first cast in that water. I was wearing my lucky shirt though.

If I catch one on the first cast I usually have a hell of a day(in a good way not bad) I do wear a lucky shirt from time to time though I wore it when I caught both my PB bass and I had it on Sunday and Tuesday just to test my lucky theory both days were awesome Monday I didn't wear it and didn't even get a hit.

I don't race my R/C nitro trucks any more or play paintball but that's just cause its to expensive. My ring back tone is Brad Paisley - I'm gonna miss her you can guess how my girl friend likes that every day when she calls and I don't stay a whole weekend with her so I can get out on the water lol. My ex wife tried keeping me from fishing and it didn't fly lol.

Just get out and fish rain is better then snow iv been out fishing in this cold rain having a ball not catching numbers but def all quality fish check my threads out. Water temps are 41* air temps are 40-50 during the day a few warmer days though.

I'm not a fan of cheese I eat very little so it's a easy choice for me.

I emailed Abu got a reply to take pics of the model number, damage, proof of purchase but I lost the receipt which makes me mad cuz I had it set aside with the paperwork for the free hoodie since I got a Revo with it. I explained the situation and that I lost the receipt but purchased it at gander mountain in February.

I lost a box of shallow cranks over board yesterday fighting my smallmouth I got. Had it just sitting on top of the bungees yesterday and was freaking out at the size of the fish(it's been almost 2 years since I got a nice smallmouth 4-12) and it went over so I just watched it float down the river and after some photos of the fish and weight I paddled to catch up.

My son got this Monday might as well throw this in to the everything that swims bag too lol

Yeah my mom said that last night when I came home dripping wet lol. I have got a large mouth this year but in a different spot actually on top of said dam. Top of the dam = large mouth,pike bellow the dam smallmouth, pike, trout, salmon heck anything in Lake Ontario. I'm still missing walleye iv seen one so far this year but they arnt in season and I would want to keep it there tasty. Pike are closed right now a well but I can't help that they like bass lures and they all go back. Even the trout are usually catch an release. That one was release but about a minute later I seem like a 4'x4' pool o blood with it in the middle so I paddled over and grabbed it not gonna let it go to waste.

I don't mind the trout but I'm not a fan of pike I had one on and it took my favorite crank yesterday. Guys are catching smallies all the way up the river to the dam now all have been dinks they said iv only got 4 but the smallest was 3# even iv gone 3, 3-3,3-6,4-12 in my spot.
