Hey NOVA guys, when do you guys normally start heading out for fishing? Can't wait to head out, even though I bank fish. To poor for a boat, to new to have friends with boats. :-/

I guy at work said that Beaverdam lake was good. Is he right or wrong?

Can you reach the "Warm" side if you are a bank fisher?

I'm new to the forum, and new to NOVA. Can anyone tell me some places to fish around Reston? I already know about Burke, but is there anywhere else that is worth fishing? P.S- I'm know that you guys get this alot, just help a fellow Fisherman, not asking for secret spots, because I'm a bank fisher.
