  1. This has been a great rig on the Ohio River for quite a few years now. I started throwing a heavy shakey head with a dropshot hook about 2 years ago and had several doubles.
  2. This is true. I got them down to $175 on a brand new St. Croix Legend Tournament, because they wasn't going to carry them anymore. If the product has a orange price tag on it that is the lowest they will go. If not you may be able to bargain with them. At least that's how it is at the Wheeling Cabelas
  3. Fishing a tournament there in May and attempting to do some research on the place. All the info I can find on it is at least 5 Years old and about walleye and crappie. Can anyone offer any info or point me in the right direction?
  4. I've been using the 1/4 oz. OutKast swim jigs with a GYCB swim senko cut to size with great success. For both SM and LM.
  5. Kietech little spider is a great jig. unbelievably tough, though still has great action. I've caught good limits of small mouth on them in the Ohio.
  6. Grey Wolf- The smallmouth fishing is great. I mostly fun fish out of the Stubenville, Oh ramp. Not real sure what the pool name is. Most tournaments are held further south. It can be tough, but thats true anywhere. Bags in the 9-12 lb. range are pretty common.
  7. Hey everyone. Glad to be a member of such a great site. As I said in the subject, I'm from West Virginia. About 30 min. from the Pittsburgh area. 95% of my fishing is done on the Ohio River (extremely underrated fishery). Been fishing local tournaments for 4-5 years now. Looking forward to learning and sharing anything I can. Brandon
