Of course I don't know the guy personaly but, it seems like he has come out his shell since he appeared on the Mark Zona show. BPS seen that he can be funny and using that as a great marketing tool. I laugh every time those commercials come on.

This stuff is great. I would highly recommend it. I've taken 1/2 inch sections out of tube baits then glued them back together and could barely tell there was a cut in it. They lasted about the same.

Hey man, don't know where you are in Baghdad but you could always go to the Security Forces Squadron on Sather and grab a rod, reel, and some French toast from the DFAC and catch some carp or some other crazy fish from Saddam's lakes around his old palaces. I just sent a bunch of stuff over there for our guys use. If you can, find a guy from Pittsburgh in Air Force Security Forces and tell them SSgt Kupfer sent you for fishing gear. All I've ever used is the white pearl. Tried switching to the Arkansas shiner and even the bubble gum colors. They didn't seem to have the same flexibility as the white ones. After that if I've wanted to add color I used dye or markers. Might just all be in my head though.

Black food coloring will soak into your plastic.

Something that has always worked for me. If you get a swirl on a spinnerbait, wakebait, or topwater throw right back in the swirl with a senko or fluke. 9 times out of 10 the fish will circle back around and rip the rod out of your hand.

Don't know where your form in West Virginia. But the Cabin Creek tubes are killer in the lakes down south. Like Summersville and Tygart. Your going to have to bribe someone to get the right colors though. There lizards are real good too. The BPS Tender tubes are great on all the Rivers. From the Ohio to the Kanawha

I'm from Weirton. The River is looking pretty good right now. If your fishing from the bank I would go to the New Cumberland d**n and fish for anything that will bite. White grubs on jig heads(heavy ones right now with the increased current) drug on the bottom will catch anything from smallmouth, sauger, stripers.

If a Diawa speaks you better listen. Don't fight it.

Where do you get these reels? I have all Diawa reels and would like to add one of these to the collection.

1.Duck hunters that threaten to shoot you if you dont leave that area. This happened to me at our state tourney a couple years ago. Would have loved to take a flippin stick to both those guys heads. 2. When a person swings a fish into the boat, onto the floor, in the middle of all my fishing rods and lets it lay there and flop around while they celebrate. All the while you had the net in the water. 3. Firing one past my ear. I try to do the best I can to give us both a good shot at a spot. 4. People who honk at me for sitting at a red light for two seconds after it turns green. 5. Not winding up the vaccum cord. Those hooks on the side are there for a reason. 6. Quoting movies wrong. Those last three aren't about fishing but huge pet peeves none the less. Thanks for letting me vent. Great therapy.

Last year I changed my lower unit oil with a synthetic lower unit oil. My buddy advised me that once you use a synthetic oil you cant't go back to using a regular oil. Is there any truth to this?

Deep boulders or the flats adjacent to them this time of year. Cabin Creek lizard and Cabin Creek tubes. My buddy fished the State Tourney there a couple years ago. He was throwing a BPS tender tube and was outfished by his partner 4 to 1 who was throwing the Cabin Creek stuff. We talked to some local guys (we're from the Moundsville club up north) and they said they don't know why but those baits can't be beat on that lake. hope this helps a bit. Good Luck

I was checking these out at Cabelas and wondering what everyone or anyone thought of them. They are a good price. Thinking about picking one up for dropshots. I know there supposed to be for walleye but what makes the difference.

Where's your tourney at? I've been doing pretty well on slow rolling spinnerbaits and swim jigs in deeper water (10-15ft.) in the lakes around the Northern part of the state. Smallmouths are coming tight off the bank on the river because of the heavy current.

I would stick with the white. But, I think its more about your blade configuration. In clear water you'll wanna throw a willow blade since the fish doesnt need all the thump of a colarado to find your lure. Caught some decent fish yesterday slow rolling a shad color spinner with double willow down a steep rock bank.

Is JJ's a gel? Been looking for something to put on hair jigs. Almost picked up a jar of Smelly Jelly yesterday.

That is an old Glen Lau video. Thats Homer Circle (Uncle Homer) catching the fish on the Crystal River in cetral Florida near Inverness. The only reason I know that is my Aunt lives there and went fishing on it a couple times. You can see a dime hit bottom in 20-30 feet of water it's so clear. The crazy blue water you see is the springs coming up out of the river bottom.

When my dad would tells me I have to much stuff I tell him " Hey, I could be out boozin or shooting my money into my arm." That usually stops the negative comments about all my equipment. Not negative, more amazement than anything that I need all that stuff. He is very supportive of my addiction. Now I just need to get my fiance on that side of the fence.

Those things have crack in them. I can't and wont stop buying them and the smallies and LM wont stop eating them. Weightless, Weighted, Scrounger, Dropshot, Carolina rig, can't go wrong. Twitch, twitch, pause. Cast past your target or up onto shore if your fishing from a boat and kill it when you reach your intended target. Twitch it again and FISH ON!!!!
