Love fluro on baits that I need to feel, shaky head,jig,worm etc... But everything else gets mono I have not tried it with crankbaits because I am afraid that i will pull the hooks out or set the hook too soon!

Well I waited for the rain to turn to snow this morning and decided to go out. My hand were frozen and thought to myself why am I out here? Then started throwing a x-rap shad pulling slowly and pausing for 15-30 seconds while it was stopped I notice my line started to move the other direction! A beautiful largemouth about 3 pounds, well worth the frozen hands! Sorry trying to get picture on here!

Yes the ikey heads the hooks would break right below the head!

Sam, I have used the tungsten ones before and have had the hook break just below the head numerous times even out of different packs. Love the way they fished but can not take any chances! Thanks for your recommendation though!

I love shakey head fishing, but I feel like I have not found the best jig head for this technique yet! Any suggestions?

If the water gets real muddy the bass will actually nose up to cover and hold tight as putting there body against something. Find some cover pitch a jig in a dark color and work it thorough. Works for me!

Yeah man, going tomorrow whether rain or snow fishing from shore for awhile. Any hits on the jig thought about using the same thing? Nice job ;D
