Shimano crucial! You will be amazed at how nice these rods are. I have a glx and a crucial both in spinning rods for my shaky heads and I cannot put the crucial down! I love g loomis but this line of rods are amazing, for a third of the price!

There is a gentleman on here that knows his stuff when it comes to fiberglass he would be able to help you. The only thing is I can not remember his name so, I would re post this with a title that says something like " cracked fiberglass help" or something like that and you may get his attention. I currently have 6 quantum baitcasters and 3 spinning reels and never had any issues with them. I just looked at the smoke today and liked it, but I will look long and hard before I purchase! Thanks for the heads up!

I am going to cabelas on Tuesday to pick up a few things for my tournament this weekend. I will try and go through as many as I can come up with a few I really like then ask about those. That way we can narrow it down.

Ok I got two new shimano crucial 6'6" mh fast tip baitcast rods, and was wondering what reels I should put on them. I have always used quantum buy maybe you guys will open my eyes up to something new. Also I am usually using 7' rods so any certain techniques you guys can recommend for these rods? Lets have fun and get creative with this!

Five bass limit said it best. Just spent 356.00 on a lower unit seal to get fixed, it ended up I needed a pressure plate and water impeller! Then you have oil, GAS, products for your gas and so on. Owning any boat is a challenge sometimes so get one you can be happy with and go fishing!
