  1. I will when I first start out until I figure out where they are. A lot of the time they maybe out a little deeper and then you can reposition the boat so you are not sitting on top of them.
  2. Wow! Thanks for all the advice. I am currently in a lot of pain due to going to the gym. Then when I fish it just gets worse. I can handle the pain while I am doing the things I love, but after awhile when I am not doing anything that is when it hurts the most! Just like you said picking up a cup of coffee the wrong way is very painful. I will try all of your techniques and hope for the best!
  3. Congrats nice fish! Also like how you are handling the fish with two hands!
  4. My casting elbow is also shot. I lift weights and fish so anything that can help the pain would be nice. My main problem is my back! When cranking for long periods of time my back feels like it is going to explode! Has anyone tried fishing with a back brace? I may try it the next time I go out.
  5. I would like to thank everyone for their input. Sounds like the Tacoma will work for me.
  6. Spinnerbaits shallow cranks. The rain breaks up the surface and is prime for largemouth to ambush prey. Also if the water is up in the 50's check any creeks that are coming in and fish there. The fresh water coming down washes foods into the lake.
  7. Awesome nice pic!
  8. Just wanted everyone to know I was looking for a new shakey head to fish this year. I have not been happy with alot of the ones I have used in the past. I did some research on here and saw some votes for siebert outdoors gman heads. Got on there website and ordered the zenith shakey head and football shakey heads. Well I got them and wow! I am very impressed with the finish and total makeup of the head. Excellent material and truly love the bend and gap on the zenith shakey heads. I am planning on fishing Friday with them but fishing this technique alot in the past few years I think this is going to be the head I use exclusively in the future!
  9. Thanks for the heads up! Free is goood....
  10. KVD Denny Brauer and Greg hackney. I met Hackney once and he was one of the nicest pros I have ever talked to.
  11. Sounds great thanks guys!
  12. Depending on where you bought it I would take it back! If not at least get a hold of Remington and see if they can resolve the issue for you. No gun especially that gun should jam even with cheap ammo. You should be able to shoot a thousand rounds out of that gun before you would have to clean to prevent problems, not that you would but you know what I mean.
  13. I absolutely want safety first my problem is I run my truck more than I tow my boat. So I am looking for something good on gas but also has 4 wheel drive and can tow my boat around 20 times a year.
  14. Never thought about that! I guess if they want to sell a truck they will let me.
  15. Well I don't know alot but back in 07 I fished a rangers owners tournament there and was pitching a spinnerbaits back into the trees and was slaying them! One of the best days I have had fishing!
  16. I have a ranger 205 with a 225 merc. My question is I want to get a new truck and with gas so outrageous I was looking at Toyota Tacoma instead of the regular full size truck. Has anyone ever towed with one and if so did it handle the job?
  17. I like to see big fish too but I thought the coverage of the classic when it was in Pittsburgh was awesome and there was no big bags there!

If you do not plan on hunting alot I would go the tactical route. You can really do alot with those and have just as much fun building the gun as you do shooting it!
  19. I have tried worm binders and did not care for them because one the sleeves were kind of cheap and hard to close and two they would not hold certain size bags. Ziplock bags started ok but I could not tell what I had all the time and then I found myself just throwing the packs on top of the bags and it would become a mess. I know some of you are going to say slow down when i am changing baits and what not but I am some what of a organizational freak and bags just do not fit me. I would like to grab a box or something like that and see what I have and be able to get it and put it back with minimal effort. Thanks for all the suggestions so far and keep them coming!
  20. I am always looking for a better way of organizing my soft plastics. I have tried ziplock bags and a few other things but nothing seems to work! By the middle of the season I have a mess and usually do not even know what I have after awhile. I would like something that I can open and know what I have and see it all. I would like to organize by type like worms, craws, finesse, etc... Thanks in advance for all the help!
  21. Great job!
  22. Learning how to use my electronics to find offshore hot spots.
  23. Ha ha that would have been better!
