  1. I don't have that particular style (yet) but I know some guys that have them and they have nothing but good things to say.
  2. LMAO That wouldn't surprise me with Robert. Don't hate the player, hate the game!!! You are right it is a social media crazy world. I wish I could just go to one spot and interact with all of the forums I like, plus Facebook and Twitter. It would make it a lot easier.
  3. That green emerald lenses are very nice. I like how the color looks on me and I like how well things look through them.
  4. I generally have a couple of crankbait rods (different depths), a spinnerbait, a vibrating jig, Senko and a couple of jig rods (swim and flipping). I have had the same Black/Blue Siebert Outdoors Elite flipping jig and a Siebert Outdoors Bloody Shad Swim Jig tied on for probably around 6 weeks now. I have retied a bunch of times but those jigs are getting a workout for sure.
  5. All is good Robert. How is my favorite Californian? You pulling your boat with a Ferari yet?
  6. I agree with both of those guys. I would use a white spinnerbait, a swim jig and a Senko. If there are fish in it, you should know pretty quickly.
  7. Just stop making excuses and answer my email. lol Glad you aren't dead though. I am not sure who I would pick on if that happened.
  8. I am not sure what the conflict of interest would be but I respect your right to an opinion.
  9. Good Grief! In my original statement, I thought it was pretty clear that I meant the best out of the brands I had used. I have obviously not tried every single pair of glasses in the entire world and have no opinion on them.
  10. Maybe you and I are a little different but I prefer to be sponsored by companies that I believe are the best at what they do. Otherwise why use them?
  11. After being a member here for about 10 years, I have finally reached my 1,000th post. I just hope the other 999 at least provided some insight and help to someone because I can tell you that this one won't. lol Well here's to another 10 years and another 1,000 posts BassResource.com
  12. Prayers for the family and friends.
  13. I have not had a pair of Costas but I have had several other brands and my Wiley X are by far the best.
  14. Hey Bobby are you alive? I sent you an email like you asked but I have never got a reply. I thought I may have had the wrong address the first time since my contacts got erased so I sent it the general mail account at Megastrike too. Check your mail bro. JT Bagwell
  15. First off, thank you and you are welcome. In your Pro Staff deals, what kind of discount are you getting? Is it really worth it or is it mostly so you can be on a Pro Staff? What have you done for them so far? You need to not put yourself in a category against other teens, you are competing against the entire world when it comes to getting sponsors. What is it that YOU do that makes you valuable to a company? As you read in the article, a lot of companies like Wiley X are in global markets and want someone that can help reach everyone. For me personally, I am teamed up with media in Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Sometimes media in Russia, Brazil, Africa and a few other places run some of the stuff I do. In reality, you are competing against me too. You need to figure out how you are going to beat me. The actual fishing part of it is only a small portion of your worth. Think about it, even if you catch 5 fish over 10 lbs each per year, will that really help a company move product? Probably not. Since I don't really know what it is that you do, I can't give you specifics about your approach.
  16. Here is my latest article on the front page of this site. If you are thinking about trying to get sponsors or just need to keep your current sponsors, you probably need to read it. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/Bagwell/how-to-get-sponsors.html
  17. I just saw this press release about the same glasses on FishingWire today. http://www.thefishingwire.com/story/290217
  18. Thanks for the link. Interesting how that company owns a lot of brands as well as the stores they are sold in. I guess that makes it easier to keep your prices ridiculously high.
  19. Oh ok, I am following you now. The WX Echo glasses have some rubber on the earpiece as well but it seems to be more rigid but still soft (if that makes sense).
  20. What tips are you referring to?
  21. Not sure who that company is but Wiley X is in California and was founded by some Military Veterans. They supply a lot of glasses to the military too.
  22. They are $140 for the Polarized. I have a pair of Oakley Polarized and I like the Wiley X glasses a lot better. They fit better and the lenses seem to be better.
  23. I recently got a pair of WX Saint sunglasses from Wiley X and they are one of the most comfortable pairs of glasses that I have ever owned. Plus they look cool. I got them in White.
