@FishinDaddy I ended up on Toho and put 5 dinks in the boat. However, there was no pattern and it felt more like I caught fish accidentally. I had the FLW College Tour out on the lake with me and everyone seemed to be having the similar struggles. Not remotely what I have come to expect from Toho. Anyone had any luck even seeing beds? I have been out 6 times since mid-January and I have found 1 bass bed in the NE of Lake Monroe. Not surprising I finally join the boating crowd and we can't get consistent weather anywhere in order to take advantage of not being stranded on the shore anymore. I am averaging about 2 fish per outing and I consider myself a good fisherman, but d**n has this been a humbling experience. Any suggestions on places to fish Sunday? Also, is it better to fish in the morning or wait till the afternoon when temps start to raise?

How should I effectively use electronics to fish in Florida? Other than a depth finder, are they really even needed in most applications? Sorry, new boater and thus far I have had a lot more luck on the shore.

Sanford is pretty straight forward, are you shore fishing or boating?

Rough day on Lake Toho overall. We scoped out a few areas with a decent bite, but marginal size fish. It seemed like everytime we established a pattern an air boat would come through and tue bite would go cold (this happened 8 ******* times). We caught one toad just north of the Shingle Creek outflow, but that was our only decent fish. This was the first time I took my Dad out on Toho so I was glad he caught at least one Toho bass. He was using a 10 inch Purple worm just flicking it to the grass and working it out slowly.

Anyone else experiencing a late spawn? I have been to my favorite fishing hole almost every weekend since the start of February and today was the first day I saw a bed even being started. Product of this pond or the extended cold weather this season? I just want to make sure I haven't missed the spawn somehow.

My in-laws live in the Vineywards. If you can find a way to get by the gate the ponds in that community are the holy land. The fish average 3lbs or more and I can usually catch 30-40 in a session.

Any good placed to shore fish in the Sanford/Lake Mary area? I need to kill some time after work tomorrow before going to Willow Tree in Saford for a birthday and need some new fishing spots to try.

The spawn seemed to come really early last year, I saw my first bass bed this past week, and I also didn't see any fish on it. Anyone else experiencing this? Or did I miss the spawn...

At least someone found a bed, I've been pond hoping every weekending the Central Florida area and still haven't found a bass bed. Either I missed the spawn, again, or this weather is really messing with the pattern.

Yeah, it was a nice day out, but I only caught one fish. I was trying to see if I could spark some activity with a reaction bait and then dead-sticking the same path after priming the area. I only caught one fish, 2 1/2 lbs, but I peeked the interest of a 4lb bass, but just never even picked up the bait. My wife said she's planning a trip for me to make sure I can actually fish the spawn this year, so when would the best time to go to the stick marsh be to get the most out of the spawn?

Well, it's been a slightly busier year than normal and I've literally not had the chance to get away to go fishing since August. Any suggestions on whether it's worth it to go out tomorrow, and if so what should I do or try? I'll be pond hopping in the UCF area.

Question, what are the things to look for when buying a used bass boat? I have started saving and I'm looking to pick up a used/reliable bass boat for $6,000 or less. I've been a shore fisherman my entire life, and the breadth of my boating experience and knowledge extends to jet boats. Anything in particular I should look out for? Any suggestions? I'm in the Orlando, Florida area.

Yeah, that was my question, what do you do when the pond you are fishing has a slimey bottom? For some reason the majority of the ponds I fish have nothing but slime instead of sand.

I play semi-professional in Orlando, but I guess my club is the whatever team has Americans on it. When it comes to Europe I'm a huge Bayern fan, but my favorite player outside of Donovan and Dempsey is Lukas Podolski who just signed with Arsenal. So I guess I'm a gooner now.

My wife is one of the project managers at the Park and I'm wondering if there is a way to get in there and night fish some bedding bass....

Are you talking about the big lake that is at the Center of Epcot? I have never seen fish in there.

I love the show and Evers is clearly my favorite in terms of providing information without adding to much about product. I like Stacey King, but I can only handle his voice in small doses. KVD is great, but he is starting to add certain "catch phrases" that make me afraid he is going to turn into the next Bill Dance or Roland Martin.

Anyone getting out this weekend? We just bought a new house so I'll be busy all weekend, but I'm hoping to sneak way for an hour or two at least on Sunday. If at the very least to provide a report on the spawning activity in the East Orlando area.
