  1. PFD's yep i got them but my wife dont wont me to wear them. Funny thing is she always asks me if i paid my life insurance when i take the boat out.
  2. Go through your fishing gear and try to find things that are made in America. I will wish you luck in finding more than a few. I don't want to get political but companies outsource because our country encourages it and we keep buying the products. It is hard to buy U.S made all the time but when things like this happen we should stick together and stop buying their product. With the exception of one Finwick I have only St. Croix rods and a lot of them. I don't care what the excuse is, it is just another company worried about huge profits, not just good profit but huge. Companies do not care about the mothers and fathers searching for jobs. I don't care if the rods I buy (Premier and Legend) are made in America they avoided adding potential jobs to the U.S. economy to save them a few dollars and sent others to Mexico and that kind of makes me mad. The world economy is far from simple but an American company in the north woods of Wisconsin did not need to sell out as well.
  3. I am the new guy here but my deal is to unhook in the lot. I guess if your boat is heavy enough and on bunks it should not go anywhere. I will start off with one of my bone head moves and tell you that we pulled a skeeter ZX190 from Lacrosse WI to Tomah about 50 miles with no straps. That is the problem with two guys doing the hook up each assumes the other did this or that. Pulled it there and back without the trailer latched as well. That was my best day of fishing, I don't remember if I caught many fish but realizing that the boat didn't come off made it a good day.
