  1. Am fishing a bass league as a substitute partner for a friend. The surface temp of the water is around 80 degrees. What can we do to keep fish from dying in the live well? His boat does not have a recirculating live well. Should we put ice in the livewell?
  2. I'm right handed and have used left hand reels since day one. They just feel more natural and I don't have to switch hands after casting with BC's. However there are a few reels I'd like to own but they don't come in LH, bummer.
  3. I use Power Pro 50# briaded line and 4/0 Owner worn hooks on several of my bass rods. I am experiencing what appears to be the line pulling through the "crack" where the eye meets the shank on the hook. I've lost several nice sized fish the past two years this way. The knot is still intact and the line has not broken, in fact the two loops that were around the eye are still visible and not broken. I've switched to the Palomar knot, which Power Pro shows in the literature that comes with the line, and I still have the problem. Anyone got any suggestions?
