  1. I recently bought and love the BPS CarbonBlack reel, not too big not too small, all around smooth and great appeal. Also, if you buy a BPS reel from their store they will give you a one year warranty compared to buying another brand and it only be 1-3 month warranty. When that is up you will have to go through the other brand company and have a hassle when your able to drop by the store and have any problems fixed on the spot. Best of Luck ! RueTwo
  2. Monocarbon is usually for top water lures, since it floats well. Then you have flurocarbon, which is used for crankbaits, spinners, and lures which are underwater since the line is practically invisible. Braided line is used when your fishing really nasty thick water, like heavy vegetation type of stuff. Now I favor bait cast reels, but for spinning reels you have to have low lb line or high memory line, because if you have thick line it will come off of the spool. Go with Spyderwire (walmart and other retailers have it), in my eyes if you want spinning reel line go with them. If there are any more questions feel free to ask! Good luck fishing!
