I think that reel has centrifugal brakes on it. Try putting some of them on. Also, that 6lb line might not be a good idea, You might wanna swap that out with 12 lb.

Hey guys im going to pro bass friday for the rod trade in. I want to get a new rod for my new feugo 300 i picked up recently. Idk what im gonna use it for the most, must of my stuff is all purpose as it is. Mostly probably throwing top waters and maybe some texas rigs with it.

I really like my Quantom KVD Spinning reel i picked up from bass pro. I know its more than $80 but not much more, i ordered a couple Daiwa Fuegos from the ***. Normally $300 , but i got myne for $123 a peice. Ive heard nothing but good reviews on them so i figured hell i might try a couple. Can not wait to get them on the water!

Yup got myne off ebay for like $153 i think it was from a guy named NoDak Outdoors.

I own 4 of them never had an issue in 2.5 years with them.

Never tried a PQ but i have a Citica 201e . Great reel. Just put 2 or 3 brakes on casts like a dream.
