Ive never been really big on soft plastics, but Im getting more and more into them as I re-invent the fisherman in me. If anyone would care to share what they know, I'd like to hear about it. I've seen them a few places before, I guess I would say... Each to their own, 20 some years ago, an older fellow I used to fish with told me that most lures were made to catch fish, some were made to catch fishermen. Good Luck!

I get that "I think you're nuts." look a lot when I talk fishing in the cold months, but think of it this way.. as long as they are alive, they have to eat, hot, or cold. Im going out to try a wacky rigged minnow on a 1/8 oz jig head today. My wife even thinks Im crazy.. So maybe I am, about Bassin'.

I'm in the south, jigs with a slow ROF would be just the thing to nail those suspended bass, since it never got REALLY cold here. Just a lil thing Id like to pass on, Im headed out to try it today, is wacky rigging a minnow in a 1/8 oz jig head to give it a wounded action. Can't wait to see how that all plays out.
