  1. They make these things called Frogg Toggs!
  2. I fish speed worms quite a bit and often time loose tails from dinks just biting the end of the worm off. When the tail is gone I usually turn the tailless speed worms into Senkos.
  3. Make it one more for the Floating Rapala.
  4. Zoom trick worm, Zoom speed worm, Bitters Baits trick worm, Yamamoto super shade, Yamamoto senko.
  5. I have both Berkley and Rapala scales both work well.
  6. I buy Zoom Baits regularly and haven't noticed any deformed baits. Where are you buying them from?
  7. Welcome, also a Florida resident.
  8. All of these are great solutions. The drop shot can produce a lot of fish as well as a senko. In our club this summer all four ten pound plus bass that were brought to the scales came from shallow heavy mats. Fish mats with a 1/2 to 3/4 ounce jig black and blue or a pumpkinseed with some sort of trailer and remember a soft pitch is critical it has a lot to do with presentation. I fish mats to look for a pig or a kicker fish. Good Luck.
  9. Welcome! I'm also new to the site.
  10. It's been tough in the north east Florida region too. I would say keep to the Senkos and drop shoting is not a bad idea either. Fish on top of any sort of cover the bass seem to be clinging really tight to all cover. Also try to find some sort of pattern and stick to it! Keep Grinding at it and you'll eventually catch fish. Good Luck!
  11. You will be thrilled basscats and clayton86 with your purchase. I've never fished with anything besides Shimano. There fishing equipment is superior to all other, GREAT BUY!
  12. Yea the Bluegill 1/4 oz 3 to 4 foot diver is the one I got. Ready to try it out and see how it does.
  13. Alright, thanks guys.
  14. Where they Shallow Diving? Medium Diving? Deep Diving?
  15. Got a Live Target Crank Bait in the mail today, has anyone used these before?

  17. Zoom baits dominate in my soft plastic boxes. I'm a Zoom guy. I also use Bitters Baits too there a lot like Zoom's baits.
  18. Fish mostly soft plastics weedless.
  19. I'm with Sam unless in tournament I throw everything back.
  20. The most in the boat in one day me and my partner combined was 57 all under a 1.5 pounds.
  21. We have Red Eyes in Florida too, on the Santa Fe River which flows into the Ichetucknee River its spring feed and the water is cold. It's one of the few spots in Florida you can catch 3 species of bass, Suwannee, Red Eye, and Largemouth.
  22. I try usually to remove the hook. But for those real bad bleeders and you know there not going to make it, call me crazy if you want on this but, Moutian Dew will cure those wounds. I haven't had a fish die on me at the scales in 6 months and I've had some real bleeders in tournaments. Just something new to try.
