Question: I have a yearly boat ramp sticker for Hillsdale, does that not get me the use of Melvern's State owned boat ramps at no charge??

I fish it but for Walley, Crappie and White Bass, there are bass in there but you better be ok with getting back through the stumps, all the bass I have caught out of there are heading left from the main ramp and the section of trees back by the boat ramp on the otherside of Hillsdale Point. If your not dialed into Hillsdale it can be a very long day, IMO buy a map of the lake to learn the channels. If that does not work take 169 south to 58 East towards Louisberg and take 69 South to Lacygne

I could not agree with you more! Here is a pick of a friend of mine from Georgia, this Bass weighed 13lbs. So this guy in paper wants me to think that the Clinton bass weighed 1.5 pounds less than this monster?? Come on man! PS this one was weighed, photo and released!

Any One Else From Kansas Read This?
Big stakes at Kansas lakes Fishermen at selected Kansas lakes could again become instant millionaires by participating in Cabela’s “Wanna Go Fishing For Millions?” promotion. Kansas is one of 19 states in which fish have been tagged and can be redeemed for prizes by fishermen who catch them. The competition begins May 5, at which time the lakes that contain the tagged fish will be announced. Fishermen must be registered in the program to participate. The registration period is now open, and those who register early will receive a list of participating lakes. One of the fish could be worth as much as $2 million if the lucky fisherman is using Cabela’s Fish Recon app. To register or receive more information on the program, go to the website www.cabelas.com/fishformillions. Last year, 143 winning fish were caught nationwide, and Kansas led the nation with 26 of them. Clayton Westgate caught 17 of them Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/2012/04/26/3578946/outdoors-digest.html#storylink=cpy
