Sometimes its just not the right time. I went out had a really good luck one day next day back to the same spot next morning and nothing. I would leave it and fish other spots and come back later in the day and they start feeding and have more luck and other times I would hit it up 2 or 3 times a day and nothing. You can just never can tell.

I don't know how long this is going last. But so far its been crazy like that ever time I go out here lately. Mybe not be in the same place every time but if you go out there and run and gun. Until you find them you can have a blast. But about 9:30 they shut do and I can't buy a bite. But a lot times I could have my limit by 9:30 so not to bad.

I guess it would be your plan ole' spinnerbait early spring winding bank you just can't beat it.

Thinks bluebasser86 I have tried waiting a sec and starting again and they would come back and hit at it. Just to miss it again. But I well try the fluke and senko. Thinks again.

I'm having trouble hooking up with top water. This smallie are blowing up on them so hard there coming completely out of the water. I'm using a super spook Jr. I have change hooks. Use glass and graphrod. Both with 12lbs mono. I know not to set hook until fell weight. There are spots mixed in with them and I well get them, but the smallie I well get like 2 out of 10 it seems. Any help?

I was thinking about doing the marshal thing or just follow them around on my boat at bull shoals. It would be cool to be in the same boat as a pro. But I don't know I got a little time to think about it.

I just posted about fishing history. Another thing I have been wondering about is fishing logs. I was looking around this site a found the free fishing log. I printed it off thinking about starting one. I have read in the past that there a good thing to become a better fisherman. Just like to see what's people thoughts on it. If you think it help or what. Do you take time after ever fish and log it down? Or at the end of the trip or what.

Today is the first time i have herd this term. I was reading bass master magazine and it was under common bass fishing mistakes. And I'm the worlds worse about doing this. I was thinking about it last time I went out. I normally stay up on the river and never go to the main lake. Then last week I read a report about the hybrids was schooling outside this cove on the main lake side went over there had a blast. Got a lot of hybrids. And I even found a big main lake flat caught a lot of bass on it mainly spots one smallie. Got me to thinking about how many fish I'm missing out on by not trying new spots. Then I read the article it was like a sign that I got to start fishing new spots. But its hard not to go back to the places that I had luck in before especially when some one coming with won't them to have a good time and get some fish. Just wondering how everyone else does it. Magazine said spending part of outing fishing areas that you havnt before. I was think about next weekend and fish all weekend any never fish a place I have fished before.

It's depends on the lake that your on. The lake I fish on I've caught fish in 60ft of water. When I get in 10ft or less I consider that shallow. But I've fish Arkansas river backwater were I herd people talk about the fish are on deep ledges about 12 to15ft of water. But I personally hate deep water like we got here. My lakes are clear and deep make for some hard days of fishing in the summer. But I'm still new at it but I'm getting better at it. But back to the ? I consider 25ft deep but I have read from pros that anything over 10ft is deep.

Nice bass I'm going to have to try me some rage tail eeliminators. I never tried anything rage tail. I don't know why but I guess ill give it a shoot.

I found a main lake flat the other day. I threw a spook out across it first cast got one, second cast got another. It went on like for that 30 to 45 min never throwing more then 3 cast with out one a list blowing up on it. Evertime you get one there would be 2 or3 following it in. Nothing big most were keeper but nothing over 3 lbs. One time I got one reeling it in saw another smaller one following it in then the small one hit at the spook!! First thought was I'm going get 2 on the same plug. Which I never done before. But no little one knock the plug out of the bigger one mouth (which was about 2 1/2 lb) I I got the smaller one ( which was only about 10 ins) I was mad but not to mad because very next cast got another fish. All in all it was a great day.

it does seem like I do get more when I'm by my-self. I don't no if its the noise or I'm more focus on fishing. Like you I enjoy fishing with my dad and we are anything but quit. We laugh and joke around more then fish. But I know fishing trips with him are numbered so I take a few less fish and spend more time with my dad when ever I can.

At my local tackle store I seen a guy bring in two steez rods broke in half and leave with two new rods no receipt. But the owner is also head off the local bass club and that guy was in the bass club so that might of had something to do with it.

Did some hybrid fishing to day and that was some craziness action I have ever seen. There was 11 boats in a 100yards in a half circle and hybrids was busting the top water so much I caught over 20 myself nothing real big digest was just over 4lbs but the might have be the funniest time I ever had at the lake. It last from 6:30 to 10:30 of continues action. If you ever hear about hybrids schooling on top I highly recommend going after them. It will be the time of your life!!!

Don't know what I would do but I do know I would have a lot more money.

I can't wait I always been more into deer hunting but that bass bug really bit me this year and I had always herd how good fishing is in the fall. And on top of that there bass tournament Oct that I got days off for. Plus Im so tried of this heat anyway.

Yea you watch it on VS channel. It seems to be really big and only getting bigger. I think even B.A.S.S has college fishing makes me won't to go to college.

What won the tournament was it even 11lb? That's a awesome bass wouldn't even care when I got that one.

ok thinks I would never thought about roostertails just used them on trout I have to give that shot tomorrow.

I used fish like that for bait. Lol I wish. I wish I could get one that big.

I planning on heading to Greers ferry at to do some hybrid fishing Monday. Never really fished for hybrid before just wondering anyone had any tips? There supposed to be schooling on top in the mornings.
