Lizards work wonders during spawn, especially if you are sight fishing on beds. Bass hate the sight of a lizard on its bed. If its a small pond you are fishing then you can afford to fish slow (i.e texas rig).

I've personally seen bass spawn all the way to mid May. Feb is primetime

The bass around my area (Central Florida) are still staging with smaller males still coasting around bedding areas. Hopefully this weekend after this cold front and during the full moon will bring some of the big females on beds. Hopefully

I'm not sure about now but I know Biscayne made a lot of their rods. I think they get different labels to make different rods. As far as the reels I havent a clue.
