square bill crankin or flippin plastics

Im getting a Pinnacle fishing rod and I want a square bill fishing rod, what i have to choose from is 6'6 , medium, fast and extra fast tip or there is a 7' moderate tip , medium . what do you guys think? i know a crankbait rod should be a moderate action but which would you guys go with?

Im looking to get into making my own jig but where do you guys get your mold at ? and which molds are your favorite for flippin jigs?

Like everyone is saying check your knots, i use floro and if you dont have a good knot it will come undone easily

They are a really good real for the price. Once the spring sale comes around at BPS I will forsure buy me another one for 80 dollars, you cannot beat that deal !!!

I flip with a carrot stick and i love it, I have 2 now and i love to flip with them, will never flip with anything else...

the ohio river is a very tough place to fish. they say if you can catchfish on the ohio you can catch them anywhere. But try downsizing your bait some, throw a crankbait and topwater. you have to just keep chuggin, one day youll catch them and the next you want get a bite. look for some rip rap cast your crank parallel to the rip rap if nothing move off the bank some, do the same thing with wood, the fish are there they are just hard to catch
