Good evening fellow anglers.
I have read many exceptional posts and articles over the last couple years, but never posted.
The hubby finally nagged me into it. Mr. Tomustang and I spend as much time as possible enjoying our sport.
It all started so innocent with a couple inexpensive rods and me insisting I would never leave the comfortable world of spincasters ... amazing what a few years and a couple hefty PA bass will do to you.
I am now a zealot of the St. Croix Avid line of rods and toss my 7'M with Shimano Curado 200E with a VERY rare bird nest like I was born for this sport (helps having a great mentor).
I now know why other avid anglers use the cliches like "I'd rather be fishing." or "The worst day fishing is better then the best day working." I LOVE THIS SPORT.
Add to the thrill of the chase and placidity of mind while fishing, my best friend beside me. There are those days, even absent a bite, that standing ashore with my husband at my side is about as close to heaven as I can find on Earth!
So thank you Tomustang for being my best friend, my husband and my fishing buddy. Thank you for pointing to the 'fish spots', for never being less than a gentleman when I outfish you and always giving sound instruction and pushing me to be the best angler I can be.
Thank you to all the exceptional people who contribute to this site as well, for giving me good information and always conducting yourselves with high ethics and good humor.... You all make my world a better place!
I look forward to posting more (but with less word... )
Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Fishing everyone on BR.
