  1. I'm getting ready to buy a shakey head rod and I've got it narrowed down to 2. A Dobyns 683SF and a Dobyns 703SF. I will be putting a Shimano Stella 2500FE reel on it. I'm kinda short so right now I'm leaning toward the 683SF. If any of y'all think I would be better off with the 703SF please let me know and the reasons why you think so.
  2. My perfect set up is a Loomis SBR752C 6'3" matched with a Core 51MG7. The best spinnerbait rig ever created, IMHO.
  3. I have a Shimano Crucial CRCC711 MLF rod I use for small and medium cranks and it works very well. I have caught several fish in excess of 6 lbs with it without any problems.
  4. I am just starting to throw spinnerbaits. I have a G Loomis SBR813C rod and a Curado 201E7 reel. I plan on using 3/8 to 3/4 oz baits. Problem is, I'm not sure what would be the best line to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Shimano made a 7'11" ML/F shallow to medium crankin rod that they discontinued last year. Does anyone have any experience with this rod? I have a chance to pick one up real cheap.
  6. I have a new G Loomis CBR864DF cranking rod and need to get a reel for it. I have been looking at the Daiwa Crazy Cranker but would appreciate input from y'all. It has to be a left handed reel, several crankin reels out there but not all companies make left handed versions.
  7. Which of these 2 would be best for using shallow to medium crank baits?
