Thanks everyone for the input. I will be buying an adjustable pedestal but it only goes up to 31". I was hoping to get an idea of the adjustments being close to what I need. Everyone seems to agree on an adjustable so I will try that. Thanks, sportyinc

Hello, I just purchased a butt seat for the front of my boat. Could anyone throw out a number (or numbers) for the approx. height that is best or the height they prefer to mount a butt seat. I currently have a regular folding seat mounted with a 2-5/8 dia. X 14" pedestal but have purchased a butt seat and now would like to look for a pedestal. If anyone has any suggestions for the best pedestal, I would appreciate it. I searched the forums and most seem to prefer an adjustable 3/4" setup but no dimensions were stated. I don't have access to the boat right now so I thought i would see what height others are using. Thanks,, Sportyinc
